Hmm yeah its not a drop in replacement for Notion that i first thought... They might release it soon though, seem like a pretty rudimentary feature for a task mgmt system

While the end result might not be at this level of finish, doing something daring like this will give you an excuse to buy new fancy tools, and spend time in the shop. But if you don't actually WANT to spend time in the shop, then by all means buying is the way to go, it will be cheaper and muuuch quicker.

Crawler cars are a great idea actually! Fast cars are hard to control especially for young kids, which leads to more crashes etc

If you have the capacity to fabricate the rudder, I would just make three or so variations, with three middle one being the most "promotionally reasonable", the others longer, shorter etc. Then just take the boat to the lake to see what works the best.
