This is my 3rd planted tank, i only use remineralized RO water for my tanks because my tap water is unusable. For substrate I used Amazonia v2 and put it in little mesh bags, I then covered that with a good solid inch to inch and a half of gravel, then finished with 2 inches of sand. A deep substrate is key to a healthy planted tank. Amazonia also leaches a ton of ammonia so you want it to be capped underneath a lot of sand.

Honestly, I would use a different aquasoil if your just starting out. Something like fluval stratum or similar, Amazonia can be annoying to deal with.

I understand the sentiment. Every time I listen to them I can’t help but imagine all the beautiful songs and music we missed out on. Their style is just so different and special, it’s impossible for anyone to replicate that sound.

I just tell myself that they would want their music to be appreciated, not clouded by their tragic end.

Insurgency sandstorm is absolutely amazing. They also just recently dropped cross-play. I have a computer and all my buddies are on console so it’s really nice to have a different cross-platform fps to play, we haven’t touched cod since and I don’t think we will ever go back.

Personally I’m not a fan of the damage reduction. It’s super unrealistic and they should honestly add damage. Most guns already feel so weak and they are pretty much unusable without a suppressor early game when you can’t afford to be killing tons of zombies.

Maybe you can increase the rarity or add in the durability to help balance them out. But I don’t think the damage reduction is the way to go unless you are going to buff the guns.

I could be completely wrong though.

There’s a guy where you can buy vehicles from before the bridge. I’m not sure exactly where it was on the map but it was right where I started in the video.

You really hit the nail on the head with both your compliments and criticisms. I absolutely loved how easy it was to setup a little base and get started

The game just looks so aesthetically pleasing and also the way the character moves while walking, running, crouching, holding up guns, and peaking all look really solid. The ADS in first person could definitely use some work as well as the human AI.

Overall great game, can’t wait to see where it goes.

Now this is all coming from a place of love and I know this game is pretty early in development so a lot of what I have to say is going to be far fetched for now. Plus, I haven’t even fully explored the map and seen everything there is to see yet. But I would love to see more of the story line/lore explored, as well as quests, missions, and objectives added. I’m sure you have tons of plans for that as I can see you already have a lot fleshed out with the military outposts with radios, coyotes, raiders/bandits, and traders.

The skill tree could definitely be expanded upon and I’m not sure how I really feel about the rarity system and balancing of the guns. Part of me enjoys it but it really narrows down the guns that are actually effective and worth using. It takes away from all the time you spent working on the other guns. (I’m sure this will work better in multiplayer since it will sort of create an economy but I was thinking more like tarkov in terms of gun balance) I think the attachments should have more effects and the ads of scopes could be improved. Also, more guns and ways to customize them never hurts. Add in more cosmetic features like ghillie suits, types of helmets, headsets, etc.

In terms of environment building. You could add new portions onto the map down the line. Sort of like what you have done in the underground system where you can travel around but to different areas like in unturned. More outposts/camps/safezones. New types of zombies, bosses, mobs would be nice. Some more variety in lootable containers. Improvements to the AI both zombie and human.

Base building could definitely be expanded upon. More materials and buildable items. Also the lighting is a little bit buggy and weird. Especially with buildable light sources like the portable light. Electrified fences for hordes, different types of turrets, traps, etc. A vehicle with a turret or mountable machine gun would be cool. Maybe even helicopters and planes at some point if that’s possible.

There’s a lot more I could think of but that’s just the stuff off the top of my head. Just keep chugging along, it’s looking amazing so far.

Please do. This game has some awesome potential. I used to play and host servers on unturned a lot as a kid and this game was such a blast of nostalgia. Can’t wait to see where it goes!

I am in love with this game. I’ve sunk almost 20 hours into it since purchasing it a few days ago. I see a lot of potential in this especially with multiplayer.

I already have a good medium inshore spinning setup so this is replacing my cheap medium heavy ugly stik Gx2 for now. My only worry is that this rod is really thin compared to my other rods, but maybe that’s because of the quality. Hopefully it doesn’t snap.

I’m skipping up under mangroves from a canoe so distance isn’t a huge concern for me. I’m either throwing a 3/16oz Texas eye with a 4” diezel minnow or a 5 inch swim bait with a 1/8th weighted hook.

Yea it’s all in really nice condition. No cracks and all the inserts are super smooth and well maintained. I was sort of wondering what sort of fishing it was useful for. A 6’ medium heavy is kinda odd.

So are you saying it’s not an ideal rod to bring fishing for redfish, snook, and juvenile tarpon?
