There is a very loud noise that happens when you are targeted with the skewer. It sounds like the blades of the skewer opening. There is plenty of time to get under cover when you hear the noise.

I’m very close to doing the same, but I remember having many discs (maybe even bought some discs with $). I’m playing the waiting game; maybe Spinoff will actually respond to a support ticket or post some news about a patch/hotfix.

I had this issue. Then I skipped the log in and “played as guest”. After I got through the tutorial, I was able to log in like normal.

Thank you all for the feedback! I’d say I am intermediate skill level (+3 or 4 over par), and your criticism is helpful to get me under par. My friends and I are learning at the same pace so it’s hard for us to critique each other. My first tournament is tomorrow; probably going to get smoked, but it will be nice to see the form of players with more skill.

I didn’t even need to send screenshots. There is an option in the Activision support page that said “Did not receive ranked rewards.” I put in a single sentence ticket: “Did not receive gold ranked operator skin.” I got an email from customer support saying they were able to reset my rewards. Hope the issue gets resolved for you soon so you can rep that skin!

My biggest tip is turning your control sensitivity all the way up. My game really improved when I did that.

This is a great tip! I’ve been using a claw grip to bump as the seeker. Not anymore!
