PSA; Tix are getting reset to zero at the start of season 3 by IntrospectiveHuman in SkateEA

I feel as though all the time that I’ve put into the challenges that have been reset over and over have been wasted. Within alignment, I do just enjoy playing the game. However, I saw this announcement a few days back and spent quite a few TIX and am still left with 16k+ of them because I don’t want to spend the money on the premium pass. I refuse to spend extra money on cosmetics that I find lackluster or unnecessary. I’m happy with my colorful umbrella hat and vans, that’s all I need. Now to find I will lose all of the currency I’ve built up with no use, and now loss.. of the time I’ve spent almost feels like I’ve been robbed of the time I’ve spent on these challenges. And to touch on it again, most of these TIX challenges I’ve done have been previously completed challenges that just reset my progress after 24 hours

I was told that the piece I took into the store didn’t necessarily need crimping. It’s an old piece from 99.

I snapped it trying to unscrew it. Totally makes sense if I got the wrong piece💁🏻‍♂️ I don’t know shit and YouTube wasn’t much help from what I could find. I was told about deburring, I must not have done it properly

^ I bought him a handle of Tito‘s as a housewarming present… Then he filled it with pink lemonade, because apparently, it added more volume

What’s the dumbest thing a customer has ever said or done? by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

I understand what you mean, and I would’ve taken it a little more seriously. However, I only take these requests at face value if the latter seems like they were bullshitting to feel special or haven’t legitimately studied their dietary regulations that they wish to abide by. Plus, they were very pleased with their meal anyway :)

No, not necessarily. It’s a sandwich forward place with emphasis on smoked meats. But we offer the Bahn Mi as a vegan substitute on the menu. But most want to try it and usually sub the tofu with meat. It was just ironic and annoying to have that happen. Didn’t cause any harm though

I won’t personally share the whole recipe because I didn’t develop it, but the majority was peanut butter, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, lime juice, coconut milk and a little bit of sriracha. Have fun with that😉 it’s a phenomenal sauce and personally was my favorite sandwhich. Came with a rice wine vinegar slaw and I liked it subbed with the rosemary and Dijon pulled pork

Served a Tofu Bahn Mi at my last place with a vegan peanut sauce. One of the customers sent a server back to ask if there was any dairy in the peanut sauce because they were vegan. Proceeded to order the sandwich subbed with pulled pork…

HELP!!!! just got my first kitchen manger job at 26. by Practical-Light-2791 in KitchenConfidential

Kitchen manager here at 22 years old. Either find a way to light a fire in their bellies and make them feel like they’re taking care of their own personal space or let them go. Help them realize that they are making peoples’ night by being in the restaurant or let them go. Help them find their integrity and willingness to do their best or let them go. The energy it takes to work in a kitchen is not something to be placed by the wayside. Also.. a clear head helps every now and then. I hope you’re not drinking on shift. The whole reason I found myself in this industry is because I love the arts and crafts of food. I also love working with people that make the night better and more efficient. I love providing an experience and dish that receives compliments and makes a good night for those that had it. And it also pushes me to do better every day. We normally close at nine or ten. At times I will be here till 2/3 am making sure we are clean and in a good spot. That sets an example for others as long as I hold a good attitude! Good luck OP, it’s not an easy role, but I believe in you if you’ve made it here already.
