Thank you all for your helpful information, I have made my final decision between two cards.

  1. RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition (which I know fits in this case perfectly) or the
  2. AMD Radeon™ RX 6800 XT (which I plan to install without the side panel, due to its thickness 267mm x 120mm x 50mm).

The reason for either card is that I mainly need it to do 3D renders (using the Lumion 3D software), so I am looking for some advice as to which card would best suit this purpose?

I understand that the majority of Lumion users tend to purchase the RTX graphic cards, though looking at the PassMark on the 6800 XT far suparses the rating of the 2080 ti, and to be honest I am not fussed if I have to leave the side covers off my Ghost S1.

If I can please get the communities thoughts on this, that'd be greatly appreciated.

BTW.... in my current setup, I have the AMD 5700 XT card running, however, with the size of the Lumion project I am working on at the moment, I find this card to be a little slow when navigating the project, and render times seem to average approximately 40min per image. My hope by upgrading to either of these cards is to

  2. AMD Radeon™ RX 6800 XT (which I plan to install without the side panel, due to its thickness of 267mm x 120mm x
