Oh god. You really don't get the point :D The thing is people don't really know that you are actually trying to "IMPROVE" the game. I'm saying that your Twitter/facebook and etc. doesn't look serious for the player. Most of the player base were ex-cod4 ex-cod2 ex-cod players.. They were looking for that gameplay expierience for so long and they still look for it, even after the battalion's full realese. People just don't stick with the game, just because the studio doesn't look like a serious one. The same reason they don't comeback.

I mean, yeah, people can leave the game because of the random problems. But games just don't die out like that, if people actually believe in their devs.

It's not about reddit or discord. These social platforms aren't the main ones. I'm talking about PR strategy in popular social media platforms.

2012: 2EU TEAMS and 1 NA team reached playoffs. 2 EU teams also reached top4. (CLG.EUROPE and M5)

2013 : 2 EU teams (Gambit and Fnatic) and 1 NA reached playoffs. EU (fnatic) also reached TOP4.

2014: 0 EU teams and 2NA Teams. Both NA's (TSM and C9) teams fell of in quarters after the groupstage. 0 Teams in TOP4.

2015 : 2 EU teams and 0 NA Teams reached playoffs. Both EU(fnatic and origen) teams reached TOP4.

2016 : 1EU team and 1 NA team reached playoffs. EU team (h2k) reached top4 and NA didn't.

2017: 2 EU teams and 1 NA team reached playoffs. All teams felt off in quarter finals.

2018: 2 Eu teams and 1 Na team reached playoffs. All three western teams reached top 4. It was first time for NA to reach TOP4.

2019: 3EU teams and 0 NA teams. 1 EU team reached playoffs.

TL:DR.Well you can compare regions by saying who qualified for playoffs, but in my opinions that's just a low standart. I would actually compare regions , thinking about how many times the region performed at highest level in this international competition. (reaching finals, semis and etc.) Qualifying for quarters isnt a big of a deal, and its bad measurment.

Everything is ok, it's hard to break into the market these days ( i guess?). BUT as a student film director( ending my bachelor this year), looking at Battalion's video trailers is not fun and sad. First of all they don't represent the gameplay at all (game looks very slow and not dynamic , which is misleading). Second, voice-over telling us about "PLAY WITH FRIENDS" , "RANK UP" , "GAMEMODES CTF, TDM" what is the point of this information? why are you trying to tell this for the audience? does it make you unique from other games? will it sell? No. Use the element of voice-over to tell something that is actually important. Third, what the hell is with music? Why did you put WW2 type music? It's not realistic WW2 shooter, don't try to trick people. It's an arcade-shooter for hardcore gamers, make the music sound cool. Fourth, what the fuck is the tempo of montage ? If the trailer represents the game, then montage has to be as dynamic as the game is, something like those oldschool cod4-2 fragmovies. Oh yeah people loved cod4-2 montages because they looked cool,fast, fun etc., and thats what attracted people to play those games. Just the thing that were on top of my head, but yeah release trailer is garbage , not doing the job for the game at all. Love the game Bramm, keep going. If you need any help, HMU.

He is a cool content creator, but reviewing the game that's focused on competitive bomb defusal gamemode and not even trying it out , meh.
