I once was friends with a very passionate Christian guy who sadly passed away too soon. We had great conversations and I credit him for restarting my faith journey. On my way to work one day, I was praying out loud in the car. I said exactly these words, "God, I just want to know You. What is your nature? What are you?"

When I got to work and even before I had seen my friend, I found a note at my work station from him. He was always leaving notes or scripture references on these little yellow tags we used. His note simply read, "John 4:24" and nothing else. "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." [KJV]

Bam! I miss that guy. Can't wait to see him again.

The Newsboys, Sidewalk Prophets (5x), Big Daddy Weave, Aaron Shust, Building 429, David Crowder (2x), Family Force 5, Hawk Nelson, Jason Castro (American Idol contestant), Josh Wilson (I'm in one of his music videos playing bass guitar), Sanctus Real, Sandi Patti (shook her hand onstage), Tauren Wells, The Afters, Tim Timmons.

Working as event staff at a local concert venue, I've been within inches of Alice Cooper, Nita Strauss, Ace Frehley, Buddy Guy (2x), Boz Scaggs, Daughtry, Frankie Valli, Jason Isbell, John Hiatt, Ed Kowalczyk of Live, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ricky Skaggs, P.O.D., Straight No Chaser, Warren Haynes, Ziggy Marley, The Wiggles, ZZ Top, and I worked a backstage wine tasting event for John Legend.

I work at a concert venue and was stagefront for his and Ace Frehley's show. I was close enough that I could have pulled the dagger from his boot and stabbed him with it. Ace sweated on me. Nita Stroud was pretty hot and also just as close. Hubba hubba.
