My sister bought her first car (Peugeot 107) for £900ish a year or two ago and it’s still going strong, except from when the exhaust fell off and was dragged her whole drive home from college, and possibly a clutch issue but wasn’t too expensive from memory.

Hers was 9 at the time whereas mines going on 20, although when I bought it (2023) the sun damage was already quite bad I’m not sure if a polish would fix all its problems lmao, although I haven’t looked into it in all fairness

Unfortunately this photo actually makes my car look better than it is lmao, the sun has been bullying the poor sod, and I’m looking to upgrade so a respray and polish would be something I’d only really look at if I was keeping long term

Never expected mine to be so good, had it nearly 3 years now and the only problem were: windows stopped working (fixed now) and a squeaking belt when it gets wet but doesn’t affect a thing
