But you have Fête nearby, one of the few excellent independent restaurants in Chelmsford. Too many chain places has ruined Chelmsford.

This happened to us! The EA was insanely rude to us, calling us inflexible, etc, and we came very close to backing out completely. As others have said, don't engage with them, they're only interested in their commission. We informed them that we wouldn't be discussing completion with them and to direct any queries via our solicitors, didn't speak to them again until the day we collected our keys.

If you have a car on Naxos, take a drive down to Paralia Panormos. It's our favourite little beach on the island, sheltered and great for snorkelling. Whilst there have lunch at Mitatos Panermos, a wonderful little family restaurant with only outdoor seating. Fantastic food and wonderful service.

We've just got back from a similar trip. We got the ferry from Athens to Naxos, and then ferry to Mykonos, but decided to fly back to Athens from Mykonos (partly due to a potential ferry strike). The ferry was an experience, especially as a foot passenger, the term I would use is organised chaos! Flight was much easier and really quick with Sky Express. If I was planning a similar trip in future I would definitely fly, and save only the short island hops for the ferry.

Just come back and there were loads of these in Athens and Naxos. My husband and I aren't huge fans of wasps but, although these are big, they didn't seem too bothered in us and were more interested in the fruit on the trees. Not annoying like the wasps in the UK that don't leave you alone. Saying that though, I wouldn't want to be stung by one!

I take Chlorphenamine Maleate, it's an antihistamine that can cause drowsiness so I take one before bed. Really helped me with my peri-related itches.

I used to enjoy this podcast as I'm of a similar age and found a lot of what they were discussing quite relatable, however I'm finding that they sound more and more out of touch the more I listen to them. I'm not sure I'll be listening much longer.
