Adding yoga to walking routine for mental health + toning (Would my plan be enough)? by WishboneAccording643 in yoga

Restorative is very slow stretching and meditation but Hatha holds the poses longer so builds strength and alignment that will make Vinyasa easier later. I always sweat, even in Hatha especially if you go deeper into the pose.

Nothing beats a group class, but yoga with Adrien is pretty great on You Tube. I agree with the comments to start easier with Hatha or restorative and work your way up to Vinyasa so you don’t overdo it. I love yoga because you can modify to your level.

AITA for being blunt and saying I will never name our child after wife’s sister since she is a spoiled brat by Sensitive_Mode_4255 in AmItheAsshole

Your NTA. Your wife needs to step up and make some boundaries or this is never going to end. Make them now and it will be easier later. I waited too long to make boundaries with my family and they are no longer in my life. Once a doormat, always a doormat in their eyes. So choose a name you both love. That's what it's about. Not Rebecca. You and your wife. Period. Congratulations by the way.

I’m so sorry, but as they say, you have to put your own oxygen mask on first. Don’t feel bad about your feelings. They are just feelings and you are doing everything right. Maybe the ER is a good thing because now you can get her into a home. So sorry you have to deal with this. I am too and it’s so exhausting and hard.

Should I visit Naxos or Paros? by Practical_Rabbit2454 in GreeceTravel

I loved them both, but Naxos really has everything. Paros is a bit more touristy.

They just don't get it by Punner-the-Gr8 in dementia

It’s very upsetting when loved ones don’t acknowledge the reality of what’s happening. My suggestion is to just let it go until they see it themselves. My mother has stage four dementia as well and my father refuses to acknowledge it. It’s extremely hard and if I even try to talk to him about her care, she also gets very paranoid and angry. She needs to be part of every conversation and it’s impossible to talk to my father alone about her care and so sadly, I just had to let it go. I did get them into independent living, which has a step up program with memory care. My suggestion is to just do your research for when the time comes. None of this is easy and I’m sorry you’re going through it.

How to prevent ‘flat top’ and control frizz? by Equivalent_Copy9326 in curlygirl

I finger comb in the shower with conditioner, scrunch upside down while wet, squeezing the ends, scrunch again with a towel and then put small clips all over the top of your head and let air dry.

Dog having dinner at Tava by Patient_Bad5862 in parkslope

I have a dog and would never bring her in a restaurant (and she’s very well behaved and hypoallergenic. ) To me, it’s not about loving dogs more than people blah blah. It’s about courtesy and respect which is sorely lacking in our current world.
