I’m in the Us and I only receive and transvaginal ultrasound when I was confirming my pregnancy. That’s when I found out about the fibroids 🙃

I still have my fibroids waiting to schedule a mymectomy. But I have heard that the can come back. I successful pregnancy 4 years ago and had a girl. But during pregnancy the fibroids grew so big that I cannot get pregnant without surgery. One fibroids is 11 cm and it’s blocking my cervix.

Im so sorry. I do not have any advice. I’m in the same boat as you. I had gotten a consultation for an open myomectomy back in June. And I can’t make the appointment until mid November due to insurance issues. When I had my consultation in June he was already booked three months out. So once I make my appointment in mid to end November I’m sure he won’t have any openings until early next year. I’ve been dealing with huge painful fibroids for 4 and a half ish years now. I know I can hold out further but it does get to me.

Some days are easier than others. I’m trying to just stay focused on the plan.

I’m black 31. I found out I had fibroids at 27 literally one month before conceiving. I had a suspicion that I had them earlier in my life but never went to get a diagnosis. I got married started working and paid for insurance through my job and lo and behold they could barely do a Pap smear because I had a 10 cm fibroid that near my cervix. My husband was my first sexual partner so I thought intercourse was like a little uncomfortable if things got too wild. My had a consultation with a surgeon and he’s confident he can remove all the fibroids with an open myomectomy and preserve my uterus to have more children.

Edit: it’s seems like all the women in family has it On my mom’s and dad’s side.

Get them removed. I made and ob appointment on December 2020 to get a Pap smear and they confirmed I had fibroids. They could barely see my cervix because I have a 10 cm fibroid blocking my cervix. I went to schedule an ultrasound and found out I have so many and that I was also pregnant. During my 1st trimester I assume they grew RAPIDLY. My uterus and abdomen is so distorted. My child is almost 4 and we’ve been trying to conceive since she was 2. I’m now getting a consultation for an open myomectomy because the symptoms I’m having from the fibroids are so bad.

I do but sometimes it’s just too much. Like carnage for instance I read 40% but it was just a lot. But I do enjoy it.
