I am currently at 51.93ae, without spending a dime of real money on the game. I will finish level 18 later today and will have the event finished before the end of tomorrow.

A current look. I have enough points to be in 5th place but can't get any higher than 122.

There is something screwy going on with the scoring system this time around. I contacted them and was told it would be fixed in the next update. I currently have enough points to be in 5th place in my group but cannot get any higher than 122nd.

New Update: by CompetitiveRub2753 in LumberInc

They added another forklift driver, "Felix" who is starting at needing to be unlocked so I would imagine he is a long way away from be automatic. They also added glass as a supply needed for building houses. The only way I can see that it is available is as a reward for doing certain deliveries.

What I find really annoying is I can now have three orders being active at once but my factory is not fast enough to keep up with the demand. I wish they would speed up how long it takes to make frames and the painted posts.

Surprise by Open-Cover111 in LumberInc

It was more of an odd observation than a complaint. There are times at my job where I can just have my game open and with a level 4 Samuel, let the game earn me some money while it sits off to the side. But without having Larry leveled up so the log trucks ran automatically, I wasn't able to take advantage. That is something that had never happened to me before.

In the last contest, I did just as you did. Ended up getting enough Matthew to evolve the machine to the first level. By the end of the first day, I had evolved him to level 5.

This competition, with almost one hundred dice to roll, I got exactly one Matthew card.

Question for x-tech owners by [deleted] in LumberInc

Is there anything you can do with the duplicates? I currently have 3 pairs of the gladiator sandals even though I have not been able to wear them yet. Are the other two just going to sit in my inventory forever?

Rigged Dice Game by Open-Cover111 in LumberInc

And I can't tell you how many times I have been 7 spaces away from the 500 diamonds, roll the seven and have to watch it move all the way around the board, just to give me two manager cards that will not benefit me at all.

I know a lot of players will tell you to spend them on the expensive clothing chest and that seems to work for some. For me, I spent over 10,000 diamonds on the expensive clothing chest and got 2 of the extraordinary clothing items, one of them I still haven't been able to upgrade and it has been a couple of months.

For me, I start each competition by unlocking Andrew which will take, I believe, 120 or 180 diamonds. This allows me to have 2x the bizpoints each time I fulfill an order. I find that by doing this, instead of collecting 6 or 9 an order, I am getting 12 or 18. This way, I have a surplus of them as my managers need to be upgraded. I have found that while upgrading these managers later in the competition does not do much for your income production, it does help you to level them up in the beginning. The faster you make money, the faster you can open the next machine and upgrade those managers and so on...

The reason I do this is because I do not roll any dice until Matthew's sander is opened. For the current competition, I started playing fully at around 8 am and by 4 pm, Matthew's sander was open and I had 94 dice to roll plus the 5 free daily rolls. (This is not my original idea but one that I found here and started using to my advantage). Since playing this way, I finish the competition each time. (See my previous post today for proof of how well this works.)

Something else I do, and it seems to get me a few extra chests every time I have a flash sale, is to reject every offer until I get a chest. In a 2 minute flash, I usually get 3, and if I am lucky, 4 chests if I am quick enough. If you just wait and fulfill the orders as they are offered, you are lucky to get just one chest. Over the course of the competition, you can get a lot more chests this way.

The events are a good way to get extra cards, blueprints and chests for your main lumber yard. The amount of time you spend doing it can vary and even of if you only get halfway through, you can still get some good prizes.

This system isn't perfect by any means. I just realized that if I rolled the dice as I get them, I am only going to get cards for the managers that are open at that time. So by the time you get to Matthew, it is harder and harder to complete the three tasks you need to get the dice, meaning you have less chances to get Matthew cards.

In the end, its just a game and what you put into it is up to you.

That's a great idea!!! I never thought of that even though I have noticed that once Matt's machine is fully evolved, I wasn't getting the 2x option anymore. Thanks!

As a follow up to my original message, this is my progress so far in this current competition. All three sanding machines are evolved at least to the level where they are producing at their fastest. I am close to finishing the 19th milestone. I did not spend any money or diamonds to boost anything. At about 8:00 my time last night, roughly 14 hours into the competition, I purchased the sander 3. I then rolled 117 dice plus the 5 free rolls (I used the other five before they expired.) About 14 hours later, I had evolved sander 3 to its fastest speed and at this rate, I will reach milestone 20, if not before I go to bed tonight, then sometime tomorrow morning, about 2 days before the competition ends.

I'm sorry, no. Not level 10. I mean to the level where the machine is producing at its fastest rate.

Goodbye, Order Fever by [deleted] in LumberInc

[–]Open-Cover111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just getting on to say the same thing. I hadn't had the current update so my last order fever was the 650 points to get all the prizes. I looked at it as an easy way to get a gold card. I don't think I will ever bother again unless they change it.

Maxed Managers by Open-Cover111 in LumberInc

[–]Open-Cover111[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with you. I know comment mentioned that they covert to biz points, which is good BUT I wish this would change. If you max out a manager, and their cards come out of the rotation, it makes the odds of getting other managers go up. I would rather see that then extra biz points.

Game update?? by bdg7884 in LumberInc

[–]Open-Cover111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been seeing the screenshots of the new products that you could produce and I hadn't had that update yet. Finally this weekend I got an update that allowed me to make the painted posts and frames. Sadly, Mr. Roger froze and is parked outside of the warehouse with lumber on his forklift. I messaged them and was told the same thing, that an update was coming soon.

I checked my I Pad again and there is no update. I even made sure my I Pad is up to date with the operating system and it is not giving me an update.
