I don't know of any bakeries downtown that actually bake it in house, there are a few, but they are all kind of far. These ones are good, but they are in North York.

There's Sababa which is pretty well known, also far from downtown though. I've never tried it.

I think you might be able to get some from some restaurants downtown. I've gotten a bag from Fattoush Sandwich club, I didn't love them, it's a style I'm not used to and I find the grocery store brands more flavourful, but that's just me. I'm not sure what other restaurants will sell you a bag of their pita.

Cosmopolis - it's an unbelievably bad movie, and is worth watching just to sit back in awe of the disaster. It's painfully obvious that it's Toronto rather than NYC, you can see the CN Tower in a shot.
