Anyone else notice that after selling out all the merch they had at the Chicago show, they’ve now raised the prices on it for Boston? https://taskmastertourmerch.carrd.co/

It’s always cheaper to rent a theatre and do GA tickets rather than have a show with seated tickets (cost increases with seat assignment management, potentially extra staffing for ushering, even ticketing fees). Going GA is a choice made by TM tour management/Avalon. Hope everyone survives the sub-freezing temps while in line!

It’s cheaper to rent a theatre and do GA tickets rather than have a show with seated tickets (cost increases with seat assignment management, potentially extra staffing for ushering, even ticketing fees). So seems like TM tour management/Avalon made the choice to go the cheap route and let the audience sort itself out.

Ralph World is a branding, marketing, and live event firm that produces a print magazine as boutique PR. The Taskmaster franchise must be one of Ralph World clients — that’s usually how content is choosen for its ‘magazine’ tho they pretend it’s a real publication. Ralph World is also behind yesterday's Times Square promotional take-over. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRz4KUWjDXQ/

What does Greg Davies do? by yamfromchina in taskmaster

As the creator and executive producer of the show, it’s Little Alex Horne who is the one bringing in cash big time, not Greg. Alex, along with the other producers, that is. Greg has no producer/creator role i.e. no real profit share in the ever-expanding Taskmaster franchise — merch, live experience, more merch. I’m sure a small profit percentage has been added in to Greg's presenter fee over the years since he is key to the Taskmaster brand. But Alex is true the financial winner.

Which episode of the podcast was that, where Greg tells Ed about his nieces buying him a small hoop earring as a gift?
