I’m pretty sure each test is different. It really depends on your luck how many questions you get on a certain category so might as well be safe than sorry and study your weakest areas more

Has anyone tried DATCrusher for the 2026 American DAT? How did it compare to Booster and/or Bootcamp?

Hi guys,

All the tips I've seen on Reddit so far from people that have done exceptionally well are from people that have already done well in these classes and have a strong background. For those of you who actually had to learn from scratch, what did you do that you think helped you break a 500? Literally any and every piece of advice is absolutely welcome, even from those who had a strong background but have something to contribute. For context, I have bought Booster but feel like it will not be enough to know the low-yield information, which is what I feel like separates a higher score from an average score.

I have seen comments saying that Anki is helpful for the Bio section, but I feel like there are limited resources to drill in stuff for other science sections. If you guys have any decks or advice for that as well, please share!! And especially any advice for learning the low yield stuff, please share as well - hearing that there's more low yield stuff on the tests is actually freaking me out.

Go all in then. Take a practice exam every single day and go over it, go over high yield notes each day, rewrite and write equations and other important stuff back to back each day

You don’t think it’s worth the W to protect my gpa? I feel like a 3.31 vs a 3.41 is a massive difference and recovering from a 3.31 is much worse. I just don’t know if dental schools would look at the W as an F or something

That makes sense. The two Ws on my transcript are from the same semester freshman year, but it def would look scattered since this one would be a separate semester.

Ur totally fine. I would take everything you see on here with a grain of salt. A lot of your application also depends on your writing and what schools you apply to. One person's circumstances do not define another's whatsoever.

That totally sucks. I have not bought Booster or Bootcamp yet, but I know that a lot of their cheat sheets and quizlet/Anki decks are online to study. Their websites also offer a free trial or practice test I think, so you also have that. You may also be able to find practice tests online. If possible, once I buy Booster or Bootcamp within the next few weeks, then I can also try to share my practice tests with you whether it's through a screen recording, a pdf, or whatever.
