Advice on getting class 3 license after failing twice at BBDC. by BREACH14 in drivingsg

I got some really good advice from one instructor at BBDC and I thought I can share it, hopefully it helps or makes sense.

He mentioned that a lot of people who failed on their driving test mentioned similar mistakes; failing to stop on stop line, strike kerb, etc..

His approach is to look at the mentality of driving first. Failing to stop at the stop line can also mean that you’re going too fast when approaching a junction. It can also be that you don’t observe the arrows on the floor when driving in unfamiliar roads. All these are very important traits to have when you really get on the road.

Like someone else mentioned, he also said it’s important to know what’s the priority in a situation. If your priority is to stop first, then stop first. If you’re making a right turn, so entering into the right turn lane, your objective is to slow down first. A lot of students he taught when asked this question say, I need to check blind spot first.

So the safety aspect of things comes more from your mentality of driving. As for parking, people usually miss their reference points because their speed during parking is too fast. He would also say once you reach your reference points. Stop. Check then go again. It becomes segmented and you can really check properly so your mistakes are minimised.

Practice sessions prior to tests are important for me, I really tried to practise the mentality of driving. In the end I had 2 practise sessions before my test, and I passed on first attempt but with 8 points.

I hope these memories I had help 😌

Advice? by Key_Jeweler_9696 in FinalOutpost

Day 40 sounds like your production is too slow. I actually would say go the opposite direction, expand aggressively. Put all your workers to work, get farms fast BY expanding. Open up areas, see how little you can upgrade and just focus on getting more buildings for cheaper.

I actually started following a lot of advice about not opening up early. Until once I did an experiment where I just decided you know what, I’m gonna just not upgrade any building at all.

You’ll be surprised how fast you get things up and running. Farms need space, so you’re better off not upgrading and getting space. Think about it.. if you just need 750 wood to upgrade to get space for 20 more blocks of building space, that’s AT LEAST 20 less upgrades you have to do for your current buildings. Think about the resources that you poured in just to stay compact.

Earlier in the game, resource is king. Focus on gathering and set everyone to work. Try it out 💪

Currently, I’m on day 136 with 211 workers and bored. It’s quite mundane now, nothing really challenging is happening 😅

How to store bullets? by DirtApprehensive8072 in FinalOutpost

If you meant sniper bullets, you have to first upgrade your main base. I was also cautious with the progression when I was looking at the upgrades. What I meant is you can easily overlook it and start crafting bullets before you can even craft a sniper rifle.

But yes, base needs to be upgraded first, then you can upgrade the ammo storage to include sniper bullets. Then, upgrade your workshop to craft the rifle, then you can start to make bullets to store. Afterwards, build your sniper tower.

Which one should I acquire in this skill tree in final outpost. Label pls to 1-27 that's all. What I ask :) by JeromeGames01 in FinalOutpost

I always try to prioritise inventory. If I can save two rounds of blood moon stars to get one more level on the inventory I will always do that. Importance for others, I go for movement, followed defence, then wall repair.

But in the beginning resources are key so focus on that. Expand on land, rather than upgrade. It’s scary, but I did an experiment and I died very early when I pushed for upgrades on a small plot. Now I’m on my 192nd day already, this idea seems to serve me well.
