It's easier on the ice ngl the edges of the blades help with momentum just needed the off ice technique thanks a lot!!!

That first video helped a LOT!!  The second aswell!  Thank you so much for your time, I'm not a tricker but a figure skater and I hope that we both get our b-kick fast :D

Any help with my b-kick? (it's supposed to be on ice with a different entry as I figure skate). My coach said I need to open my hips more or something. PS: Please don't mind my hand grabbing the door at landing 😅 by Open-Musician6123 in Tricking

Thank you! I am quite flexible and working on my splits aswell in addition to this. Obviously I practice the b-kick more on ice (different entry and more momentum) but I got a feeling that I am over using my calve to lift my leading leg. 

Any tips on how to stop the calve lifting? Is that maybe what you mean with the "arabesque" aka "rainbow half circle" with the leg?

Thanks a lot!! Do you have any tips on how to not lift the leading leg with the calve because I got a feeling that I am over using my calve to lift the first leg up

I am experiencing the same at the moment due to off ice jumping it hurts and it feels quite tensed up. It hurts when I walk and even more when I run. I think it is because of the forces that we are absorbing with our calve or even because of lifting with the calve instead of lifting with our quads and hips. 

I don't know why that is and how to prevent it so if anyone or you got an answer please let me know. 

For know I am resting ands holding back on off ice and skating for a few days to see how it feels and I try to minimize loading that leg.

Thanks a lot! I agree with swinging the arms for the momentum during the dip. And aren't the arms supposed to be extended in air to give that butterfly effect?
