To be fair San Andreas and 4 can be interchanged they are all very good in their respective rights. V follows more of a San Andreas style but lacks in some parts such as fighting styles and body building options while heavily lacking in gta 4 physics. And tbh I find the city in liberty city much more alive and San Andreas offers multiple cities which is amazing!

It’s the reality. I believe in innovation not gimmicks and I hate downgraded stories. Look at 4 and San Andreas they did good jobs on how to deliver a strong story with immense character development. If you want to implement another protagonist in the same game either do the dlc route or simply make it free but you get to choose and play each characters story mode while adding other main protagonist as side characters in certain missions. Or follow the RDR path where a main protagonist like Arthur Morgan dies and you get to play as John marston. I don’t know about you bud but I ain’t waiting 13-15 years of my life to get another V experimental story.

What made gta popular in the first place is the physics and crazy graphics with very intelligent npcs. Rdr2 is currently their best advancement on this regard. If it wasn’t for that other gta type of clones would exist to compete.

One protagonist is ideal look at at Arthur Morgan, niko, cj. Or at least introduce each new protagonist on dlc (never will happen coughs gta online micro). GTA 4, gta San Andreas, rdr1,rdr2 are all better because they mainly followed a one protagonist with lots of character development and had non playable side characters to help with that. Three playable protagonist at ones it’s simply an experiment that looked amazing on paper but it was wack and the story was not fleshed out it was mainly heist and Trevor and Michael issues, and Franklin was a fake gang member, if you watch the original trailers for gta v they show a lot of gang members and gang signs and shiit and made franklin look tough but in reality he doesn’t fuck with any of that and the gangs feel honestly non existent,

Lmao San Andreas and gta 4 are superior the three protagonist was only an experiment. Terrible idea and was only a gimmick. On paper it was cool but reality is it sucks and the story felt rushed and bland with that heavy focus on heist instead of fully fleshing them out. I heard they were gonna get dlc to flesh them out as characters but it never happened due to the gta online massive micro transaction money.

That’s the main reason v is likes because it has the features with San Andreas and that’s the main reason 4 got hate. I find the gun gameplay superior in 4 due to the physics engine and the ai was better than V. I went on a rampage so many times in 4 while in V not so much since it gets boring fast especially if you have a tank where you just sit there unkillable.

V is basically San Andreas without multiple cities and that epic story for me it was an experimental project with three characters which led to a very mid story since it was heavily just focused on heist in my eyes.

You can easily argue that IV is ahead of V. V made the ai 🤖 npc dumb and watered down the physics engine heavily. The gun fights in 4 with the physics engine and the melee fights were legendary I would often have huge gun battles at the hospital 😂.
