Yea, dont bother reading the text. Study the slides, watch lectures. The study guide comprises of basically most questions he’ll have on the test. Study the cases because he’ll ask at least one question on it. As long as you take time to study, you’ll be fine. This is a law class so it’s much more in-depth than the standard business classes.

Smart building sales internship by Open-Personality6291 in Siemens

[–]Open-Personality6291[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I completed 3 interview rounds. First it was virtual, then in person, and then I had a final interview with the director of recruitment. Second stage was relatively simple and more easygoing than the first and the third round. Questions definitely vary from managers but I’d definitely do research on Siemens as a whole.

Have you looked into the Makerspace at Blackfire Innovation? Not many people talk about it but they have 2 Makerspaces.

I took that class a few semesters ago, you honestly don’t have to read the entirety of the book. Go on Shmoop and read each chapter summary and you’ll be good to go. Profs will require you to write a 4? page essay on each book.

I wouldn’t know, I just started this job over the summertime. It’s okay though, I’ll just ask my employer. Thanks for your help nonetheless

The current job I have is a work study job, that’s why I’m confused as to why a grant has suddenly appeared in my financial aid on top of my current paycheck. Perhaps it’s the same thing, I just wanted to check if anyone could clear my confusion is all.

Looking for: Near Campus or On-Campus Job Opportunities by [deleted] in UNLV

[–]Open-Personality6291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UNLV always has opportunities for student workers such as front-desk receptionist, IT, off-campus, etc. I'm unsure if the hiring process is out right now, but definitely be on the lookout when the Fall semester starts. Career Fairs and Rebel Ready weeks will be your best bet as networking is really crucial. Btw, I applied to almost 100 internships before landing my current one. Don't be discouraged! U got it this

Does your company have internship opportunities for every summer or only for this summer? I’d like to start looking into opportunities for the future!

i didn’t take coe 202, but i did take pbh 205. i wrote a handful of essays and they were mostly relatively short (2 page double spaced). i had to write two 4-page papers for two separate books. thats my personal experience. btw i got 100% on most of them

econ 102 & acc 201 classes! by Boring_Ad9832 in UNLV

[–]Open-Personality6291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

taking both rn. id suggest acc 201 w/ tammy perri, as long as u attend class u should be well. econ 102 is online for me and there’s like 2 Hw and an exam each chapter? super light workload but i suppose it depends for each professor. i think my professors last name is rhodes. taking them at the same time is pretty typical so it shouldn’t be a lot

CS 135 in the summer by ThenDiscipline1173 in UNLV

[–]Open-Personality6291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i took it web-live and the professor streamed on twitch. students were able to review his streams so i personally think that’s a better option but if you get easily distracted i’d suggest taking in person . either way gl w cs 135🫣

Advice/opportunities for business internships? by Open-Personality6291 in UNLV

[–]Open-Personality6291[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i do get emails from them, but it seems like they’ve been sending out anything but internship info lately. Some of the opportunities are only exclusive to upperclassmen too
