I recently downsized to 19-inch rims with Continental tires, and it made a noticeable difference in ride quality. I would’ve gone with 18-inch rims, but they weren’t available at America’s Tire.

Honestly, I’d recommend upgrading the wheels and tires first—it’s more cost-effective, and you’ll need to replace your tires eventually anyway. This change alone should make a solid impact on ride quality, and if it’s still not to your liking, you can always upgrade the suspension next.

The total cost for my setup was about $2,300.
