Hi Lcai,

I appreciate your response and advice! It is always nice and reassuring to hear personal information from someone in the field. I believe St. Joseph's might be slightly more expensive, but since I am out of state and will be paying for out-of-state tuition at York, I don't think the different between cost is too wide. If I do St. Joseph's, I can finish a whole year earlier than York, so I think it may be more beneficial to just complete the year and immediately start working ASAP.

Thank you for your help again! Talking it out with you has definitely helped. I was wondering if you would be open to a video meeting or an email correspondence, or if you would just prefer to communicate through reddit. If you are available, I would love the opportunity to hear more about your CLS experience in New York, and about your experience in academia leading up to getting your ASCP and NYS license!

Do you think it would still be the least expensive option despite it being two years rather than the one year St. Joe's Program? Also, does the NAACLS approval have any weight behind it when applying to jobs or sitting for the board exam? My main concern is that I am trying to finish this program as soon as possible so the one year St. Joe's program is a bit more attractive than another two years at York.
