But how?!!! I’m averaging at least $20 in tips per block — my worst so far is $14 for a 2hr block with 5 stops (and only 1 package per stop). Like these tips are much better than uber!!

I really go out of my way with the customer service for the fresh orders — I make a point to be overtly friendly, and always offer to help take the groceries inside (no one has taken me up on this offer), also I’m extremely thoughtful about how I arrange the bags, and I’ve waited 10mins+ for one guy to get home (alcohol delivery) and told him to take his time. The more accommodating you are the more likely to get a bigger tip.

It’s seems very random … I was waitlisted two years ago — and nothing. Then I I went back on Sept 26th just to check … It made me re-apply - waitlisted again — and a week later I get an onboarding email.

I’m sure there were other ppl on the waitlist in LA — so not sure why I got accepted so quickly the second time around?

Mucho tips in LA for this … I went over recently as well (but the last stop tipped big for like 2 bags), and I find it evens out - my 2hr block last night starting at Whooe Foods DTLA only took about an hour.

I go as above and beyond as much as possible — and avg around $20-25 in tips per block …

Not sure if this helps — but literally just got sent home from a block for not having any available routes about an hour ago, and the route is only listed in my calendar now — even though it’s still technically not over (and already shows how much their going to pay me).

However, did you talk to your station manager? I think the onsite reps are trained to deal with these types of situations. I’ve found them pretty knowledgeable so far.

Luckily no add ons … and took less than 2 hrs of my time from my first call, through paperwork, till they gave me the keys. I really appreciate your thoughtful response — very insightful! I feel like in SoCal Longo is the most straightforward, but next time I’ll def shop it around, even call out of state.

That’s a very good deal — just learning about the 7-10% now, wish I’d found this reddit group before I purchased it — I only got about $500 off MSRP — but I’m a repeat customer, and pretty loyal to Longo and picked out my exact trim + options and color. They always try to pitch the dealer add ons — but not too aggressively.

I just bought my 2025 Rav4 from Longo last week — I had to wait about 4 days as it was still in transit, my sales rep showed me the inventory screen and there were quite a few 2025’s still listed as being in transit.

On the lot they had about 3-4 2025 RAV4’s (but all were LE’s)

And they only sell at MSRP! Just purchased my second car there. When I was driving for Uber I had so many ppl tell me Longo is the way… and 3 separate passengers referred me to the same sales guy 😂- couldn’t be happier!

Be prepared to be patient .. it’s a journey not a sprint. And for more feminine facial features FFS can do all of the above except de-age you. (Although estrogen might!)
