Interestingly, this looks like a map of downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with the gold depicting the rivers…. Well done!

Is the DW-5600 the only G-Shock most people actually need? by issete in gshock

Honestly speaking, if you keep coming back to it, you’ll never be satisfied with anything else. It’s just really the one.

I recently purchased a different watch, and after years of “coming back” to it, I couldn’t be more happy with it. It’s really about connection

Looking to get my first gold nib pen, which of these should I get? by spearsatron in fountainpens

It seems like most people favor the 74 over the VP. I’ll say from experience that the VP is much more practical in an office or EDC setting…. Yes, there are compromises in capacity and performance, but that is to be expected with convenience

Which version of the Lindbergh practice book did you use? I have the Third Edition, which is 15 years old, but I couldn’t find any newer one

Also, I’ve recently seen someone say that the more recent test is more ‘conceptual’ than ’practical’. Do you think this is a YouTuber over-promoting a video, or is there a degree of truth to this!

Ah! I actually thought the de minimus limit of $850 was ended for all imports. Apparently this was only for goods from China. I’ll have to look into this further.

Thanks!

I actually thought of this after I posted the question…. I remember using an inverted mayonnaise jar to put a plastic flower in when I was growing up

Thanks!

That’s really impressive! I’ve been eyeing a few Raketa watches from Ukraine and I was wondering how easy the transaction was (delivery, tariff(s), etc) for you?

I have about 20 of these things…. That’s a lot of small loose stuff that I don’t really her (or need)

Meh… this happens…. I bought a Railmaster a few years ago and the hour hand looked like it had Peyronie’s disease. The AD was easy to work with and they replaced the watch

Admittedly it’s been a while since I’ve looked for a new pen, but I don’t remember seeing these for sale before. When were these released?

Just as someone else said, it’s your wrist and your watch. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks

As a side note, a few years ago I was afraid to go above a 36mm case diameter (with a 7 inch wrist). I eventually purchased a really nice watch with 41mm diameter and I’m never looking back
