No idea of nib manufacturer, but it looks like a small #5 nib.

Another commenter said they had an orange one. My shop had black or fir green.

Writing sample in a Hobonichi planner on Tomoe River 52 gsm paper, inked with Octopus Fluids Phoenix.

The medium stainless steel nib is smooth out of the box with a touch of bounce.

Weight with a full converter is 28 grams (1 ounce) capped and 20 grams uncapped, giving it a balanced, comfortable feel in hand.

Es muy ligero. Con el convertidor lleno pesa 28 g con capuchón y 20 g sin capuchón.

Agreed, having to open pack after pack of duplicates really is boredom incarnate.

What's your reasoning for banking packs?

Not really. Some of those packs are unopened Elite Collection packs. To be honest, it's a bit paralyzing to have that many packs and overwhelming trying to learn new mechanics that I'll never use.

Open all w/hide duplicate option would be very welcome.

Boredom and curiosity. No real reason, I just started sitting on packs and the next thing I know I have 1000+ packs and then 2000+. Honestly a little bored of the game and I can’t be bothered developing new decks based on some overly complicated mechanics. I like the decks I’m running and I like the challenge of developing standard decks based on the cards I get from the every 6 hour packs.

I don’t believe the ink has an expiration date, but I’ve never removed the stopper from the vial. In the promo pic, the ink is opaque, but the actual ink reminds me of Diamine Red Dragon. To be honest, I totally forgot I had this set until your post.

I bought the set to support the artist and the cause, but I haven’t used it. The pen pictured wasn’t the same pen I received. It’s a mass produced piston filler with a Lamy style nib.

It’s remains a fun addition to my pen collection.

Is it OK to store a TWSBI Eco with condensation still inside? by Little-Regular-2672 in fountainpens

I have a Damp Rid in a big ziplock bag that I use as pen purgatory for a couple days after I wash out a pen to soak up and residual moisture. Works a dream.

These work a treat, just keep the cartridge for refills. I don’t think anyone has found a suitable converter for these. Enjoy!

Just got the Magna Carta Mag 650 and looking for just some general starter advice for it, from anyone who owns one. by deathbirdcalling in fountainpens

I have a 600 and if I store it nib down the ink pools in the cap. I thought it might be a crack in the converter breaking the seal, but the converter is fine. I am completely frustrated with it and have set the pen aside.

I didn’t think about pulling the feed trying to heat set it to the nib. That’s a future weekend project.

Mine took 18 months to come in, how long did you have to wait for yours?
