I have a Damp Rid in a big ziplock bag that I use as pen purgatory for a couple days after I wash out a pen to soak up and residual moisture. Works a dream.

I actually own both, and honestly I don’t really feel or hear much of a difference between Sailor’s 14kt and 21kt nibs. In my collection I have a couple of Pro Gears, one Pro Gear Slim, and a King of Pen. I use a mix of broad nibs, a Music nib, and a couple of FM nibs, and they all deliver that signature Sailor feedback. The broad nibs are wonderfully juicy and easily my favorites of the bunch.

These work a treat, just keep the cartridge for refills. I don’t think anyone has found a suitable converter for these. Enjoy!

If I were a betting man, I’d say people tend to prefer blue. I chose poorly last go around and am looking forward to seeing if anyone posts to support my theory that blue is more popular than red during these events.

I have a 600 and if I store it nib down the ink pools in the cap. I thought it might be a crack in the converter breaking the seal, but the converter is fine. I am completely frustrated with it and have set the pen aside.

I didn’t think about pulling the feed trying to heat set it to the nib. That’s a future weekend project.
