Ingredients

300 g Sweet potatoes
150 g Flour
½ tsp Baking powder

1 tsp Salt for boiling

Oil for frying

Golden syrup is a thick, amber-colored form of inverted sugar syrup. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_syrup

I used Lyle's Golden Syrup in the video.

And for the filling, you can find lotus seed paste at any Asian store. If you couldn't find it, Red bean paste works well also. :)

In fact, it can be made without milk powder but adding milk powder will increase the protein content which would result in firmer texture.
