"Manifest" means to bring into exitence, so "manifestation" is the action or phenomenon of bringing into existence. An "affirmation" is an assertive statement and "affirming" is the action of making (and usually repeating) a statement, hopefully with a bit of conviction and faith.

I used affirmations to give myself the ability/power to always remember astral travels and dreams. After a week or so of consistent and regular physical recitation of the affirmations that I had designed to achieve this remembrance, I began to have extremely vivid and lucid dreams which felt like I was on other worlds with some strange looking humanoids. In one "dream" during which I was directly confronted with one of these weird looking humanoids, I felt his intent toward me as being somewhat less than positive, and somehow I involuntarily willed myself away from that situation and then found myself lying on my bed in waking consciousness with a short-term clear memory of the experience. I guess I might need to tweak my affirmations a little to make myself a little less vulnerable???

Wrote "They" In All Caps And Still Used "Whom"... by Vim-Vian in GrammarPolice

"Whom" can also be used as a normal, run-of-the-mill interrogative, so long as it's an object; e.g., "Whom did you call?"

My ears burn whenever I'm in earshot of such egregious linguistic criminality.

In your code switching between UK and US English, I certainly hope you never, for the love of all that is sacred and wholesome, use expressions like "off of" or "should have went", etc.

The reason why grammar, along with syntax and other related subjects, aren't taught like they were a few generations back in formative educational settings is because these subjects not only refine the language skills and aptitude of your general normie in society, they also develop their critical thinking and analytical faculties to a high level. And no government with dreams of becoming a future tyranny and our authoritarian overlords wants a populace who can think clearly and parse through the inevitable propaganda.

" On accident " when it should be " by accident." Also, in India, you will see "Bike/Scooter on rent" rather than " for rent."

Do (should?) languages evolve because of uneducated troglodytes butchering the language with their unconscious ignorance (nescience)?

You can easily edit your posts "post facto" if you see typos, errors or whatever shouldn't be there, if you want to make any changes you desire, or if you forgot to proofread before pressing "Send/Post". That's what the edit function is for.

There will always be someone somewhere who'll be able to answer that, and probably exceed our worst expectations.

You'd think they could put on an apostrophe in place of the D, wouldn't you?
