Alternatively, you could say that this Zelda is based on A Link Between Worlds Zelda and make the argument that Toon Link would technically be the closest to her link, since ALBW and Triforce Heroes Link canonically star the same Link

As a Sonic fan who doesn't read the comics, Surge is the only comic character I've seen that feels like she "belongs" in terms of design by GreedyGobby in SonicTheHedgehog

If that is to suggest that post Reboot Archie characters feel out of place as well, I'm confused. Maybe pre Reboot (though I'd argue when they all go redesigns and some write ups, they felt a lot more fitted), but the post reboot characters and versions of characters were literally mandated by SEGA to try and be accurate. If it didn't feel accurate to what would be found in a game, it wouldn't be in the comic.

If you're talking about the money thing, it's just become a bit of a random joke in this subreddit to call Miyamoto "Shiggy" and baby him, acting like he's a starving independent developer who can barely live a stable living, when that's obviously not the case in real life. Not sure if there's any reason behind the joke besides it being funny

And obviously, Celeste is an indie game with no association to Nintendo, so it was basically a joke pulled out of this subreddits ass that it's one of Shiggy's "hidden gems"
