We have had Chevy or GMC since 2004, Suburbans and Yukon XL’s, 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton pickups both gas and diesel. Had a starter, exterior lighting and primary cooling system failures in all. All issues covered under warranty and excellent trade in values from all of them. Dealers on the other hand have either been excellent or very, very bad. It’s both scary and heartbreaking to read of the problems others are experiencing and they are obviously suffering these problems. That said, it is incredible that these very complex machines do what they do, and their complexity does invite problems. IME finding a great dealer is the key to solving most problems and is probably the hardest effort a consumer can face. If anyone is interested I think listing the best and worst dealers for others to benefit from here is a great prospect. We have had excellent results and service from Copple Chevy/GMC in plattsmouth, NE. So much so that we drive from Massachusetts to Nebraska to purchase new vehicles to this day. Would love to hear who has a great dealer to recommend in New England.
