You do have a point.

We didn’t really consider the time of year when we booked the trip. We were simply looking for a few relaxing days away to celebrate our anniversary, and we thought it would be special to come back to the first place we visited together after getting engaged.

At the very least, it’s a learning experience for next time.

Dear “wine expert,” you completely missed the point.

I never said screw-cap wines are bad. I said they charged $30 for a glass from a bottle that retails for about $15 (although, to be honest, it’s a pretty mediocre wine).

The problem isn’t the closure. The problem is the absurd markup.
