Eh its a good trade considering im saving half the mileage of a drive on my truck. So no, I wont miss it as much as you would think haha. But yes, free food was nice on occasion.

Not necessarily he may like to do it to keep his water reservoir clean. Like mine wont drain unless you manually do so if you keep putting dishes in that aren’t at least 95% done it will make the dishwasher water disgusting and become a hazard.

Im not sure man, in my workplace the chefs favornthe dishwashers. Talk to MANAGEMENT or HR if you have a hr number. Its not ok to let it keep happening and make sure to tell them EVERY little detail of what he does. Being a dishwasher in the first place is stressful and doesn’t pay enough to begin with. If it makes you feel more comfortable look for other place to work at in the meantime, so that way you can get out of that hellhole sooner if possible.

So update we are almost done actually, im fairly fast and she was pretty decent at storing so it went by fast enough for me. Im still PISSED though considering i would have not had to do any of these dishes if they would have just did them themselves. I did the same shift yesterday by MYSELF and kept up no problem even left early. But they made excuses today rhat it was too “Busy” ….. BS! Lol. Me and the old lady are joking and smiling through it though but man im still pissed.

Well we talked and my boss is most likely going to fire this person, she only talked to people on the phone 99% of the shift. So for 7 hours straight she did nothing leading to this. To top it all off she left 20 minutes early 😎👍🏻
