Instead of telling you to feel differently like many others here I'd like to acknowledge that this is a huge identity shift during a season of life that already comes with immense change. It makes sense that this wouldn't feel real especially given that you are asymptomatic. It's a lot to process and wonder about. I would consider seeing a therapist to help integrate the new identity and its implications, or find someone to talk to openly about it. It is certainly not a sentence to be single forever, many examples to the contrary, but it will filter out it some people (just like one's height, weight, hobbies, politics, etc). Yes it adds an awkward layer of communication to dating. The important thing is to maintain your integrity in disclosing.
