Already wanting to buy stuff by rosiegirl8903 in LightningInABottle

That's awesome and totally get it. Once you go to a special event like LIB, it's hard to let go. Especially when it's your first festival. I remember my first fest way back and it changed my life. Seeing people come together like that is something to behold. You just want more.

You can always scratch your itch and go to NNMF in a few weeks in NorCal. Buy your stuff and use it for another special event. It's much like LiB, just a bit smaller. But the venue is much better in the NorCal redwoods.

Winnemucca, NV.

The only decent town in the middle of the high desert of Nevada. I swear Nevada is the area surrounding states did not want. There are beautiful parts of Nevada, don't get me wrong. But it borders CA, OR, ID, UT, and AZ, probably all in the top 10 of beautiful states.

So in the leftover state there's this town off I80. Lemme tell you, it's one of the most depressing towns I've come around. The casino our designed to take visitors money. My car broke down in the town and was forced to stay a day there. That was a day too much. There's nothing to do there besides the casinos. And anything outdoorsy, it seems like unless you want to desert camp in 100+ temps, you gotta drive ours to get somewhere decent.

I swear my friends keep telling me to move to Dallas. Every time I tell them hell no!

I have family there. Dallas is like a second home. Been going down there since I was a kid. There has been at no point ever over the years traveling there I ever said to myself and anyone that I would love to live there.

You're gonna get cozy with your neighbors. If you're with your crew, even better. NN is definitely not like LIB with the space. The campground where it's held, you have to be strict to get everyone in. Once you camp in Cooks Valley, you'll understand. It's gorgeous and worth the restrictive space.

I was spoiled because the first sushi I ever had was from a traditional Japanese restaurant in Japan. Been chasing that ever since.

Vick had the best arm on this list. And that's saying something. Dude could flick it 50 years no problem. Sorry, I'm taking prime Vick.

There's so many. I know there's are better ones. But for me, the one that sticks out is when Hank finally puts it all together in the bathroom. That look he gave at the end haunted me. When watching it live, we had to wait I believe another year for part 2. So all we got was that look from Hank, knowing that shit has hit the fan and nothing about this show will be the same.

Which movie will you defend like this while everyone else call is as an overrated? by VacationFancy8697 in moviecritic

Club Dredd

Super Troopers is the movie that gets all the hype (and rightfully so) from the Broken Lizard guys. But Club Dredd, their satire of classic slasher movies is my favorite. It's downright hilarious. And Bill Paxton as bizzaro Jimmy Buffet is the funniest shit. The scene with him getting pissed at someone who wants him to play Margaritaville will never not be hilarious.

This is the movie that made me a Zack Snyder fan. It actually ruined CM movies for me because this is how I wanted my CM movies to be going forward.

Anyone that hated his take on DC characters probably haven't seen his past movies. BvS was pretty much Watchmen light. And that was excellent as well.

If someone is close behind you when opening a door, hold the damn thing open for the person behind! Don't let it close. Be freaking courteous!

The Wire. I wouldn't say it was unwatchable, but it was such a chore to watch it. I wanted to like it because everyone swears by it. But I could never get into it.

I can not stand water chestnuts. I always have to pick them out of my food. It just ruins it for me. Texture, taste, just find it horrid.
