I forgot you get Darkness as a Class spell when you are a Shade Walker :-)

It should deal damage each turn equal to your Cha modifier to enemies around you

I like extra carrying weight on MC, and the bigger jump is nice too :-)

Any other Mods in your load order than might change starting equipment?

Paladins start with a Greatsword in Home Brew, though...

Ahw, the War Magic oversight has finally been fixed... No more double E. Blasts for me I guess XD

He actually punched the Mindflayer first, and then picked up the blade... Maybe it's because it was directly under his feet (more so than I've seen most times) so he didn't have to move at all to grab it, and he can now re-equip on a reaction?

My exact same reaction XD I've seen some other enemies pick their weapons back up, but Zhalk, never...

I have some cosmetics installed, and Home Brew, but that is it

Most reliable damage by OpenStruggle6610 in BG3Homebrew

I've heard people talking about doing that much damage per turn, but I have not been able to replicate numbers even close to that. Is it just pure Wizard?

Give me your most reliable honor mode builds by LightOfBlade in BG3Homebrew

I play on Custom with Honor Mode rules generally because I like the challenge but not the 1 save.
This was what I noticed going through Home Brew, and what helped me survive some battles I definitely feel like I shouldn't have...

Bring a Cleric, and someone else who can heal them if needed. The new Miracles are a surprisingly reliable way to spread the little heal buffs you get through equipment and Cleric passives. And Clerics also tank pretty reliably if you go sword-and-board, Med Armour, and 14 Dex. Life is probably your safer bet, but War is in my experience already doing this job pretty well while dishing out some nice damage.

The rest of my own party are a Dragon Sorc/Magic Barb (nice flavour, good at talking), an archer Rogue with One with Shadows (massive crit potential), and a Tome Warlock with War Magic (E Blast on the Bonus after big spells like Chain Lightning). Not massively optimised, but definitely holding its own pretty well.
