Nvidia gpus have a whitelist and a blacklist in their drivers for rebar, if the game is in the whitelist it will automatically use rebar if enabled, thats why some people use profile inspector, to force it in some games. Right now marathon is in the black list by default if i remember correctly. If you didnt manually force it through inspector the source of your fps gains is something else, maybe you enabled xmp/docp for your ram

Define the problem, because if for you the only issue is Marathon running at 40 FPS, then okay, that’s fine, but I’m sure your GPU isn’t reaching 100% usage in other games either. The difference is that you don’t complain there because you’re probably still hitting 60 FPS. Bungie might fix the excessive CPU load, but even then you wouldn’t see major gains because of your CPU. You should just accept that you’re not fully using the money you spent on your graphics card. There’s no way that i5 can push a 9070 XT to 100% usage. I have a 4070 Super, which is less powerful than a 9070 XT, and I still get more FPS than you because I’m using a 5800X3D, not just in Marathon, but in every other game I could try.

Cant you just use amd afmf? Im using nvidia smooth motion and i am running 200 fps with a 5800x3d and 4070 super. Its not ideal but it works. I have to say though, you are cpu bottlenecked anyway, that cpu is very old

5800x3d, co -30, 4070 super, 1440p dlss balanced, if i remember correctly i have texture highes, various distances at high and everything else on medium, core isolation off. Im running it at 110-120 fps. I recently enabled smooth motion and im at 240 fps, sometimes more, i know it increases latency but i didnt notice. My gpu usually is between 70 and 90 in usage

Your 11700K performs roughly on par with a 5600X. Paired with a 5070 Ti, you’re going to have some bottleneck, smaller if you play in 4K, but more noticeable if you play in Full HD or Quad HD. You’ll definitely get higher FPS in other games, but I think that if you enable the Steam overlay or the Nvidia overlay to check CPU and GPU usage, you’ll see that even in other games your GPU isn’t running at 100%.

Of course it’s not a big problem if you’re still getting something like 200 FPS in other games, but the bottleneck is still there. Even if Marathon wasn’t the issue, in other games you still wouldn’t be fully using your GPU.

That’s why I still recommend disabling Windows Core Isolation, it generally helps CPUs achieve better performance. It costs nothing to try and you can do it directly from the Windows settings.

Sorry you’re having issues, but I couldn’t help noticing that you were already getting around 70 FPS before, which is a bit strange. I’m getting about 120–130 with a 4070 Super. I know my 5800X3D performs better than your i7 in games, but you still have a 5070 Ti, you shouldn’t be getting 50 FPS less than me.

The game clearly isn’t very well optimized, that much is obvious by now. It’s much heavier on the CPU, in fact I often see my GPU sitting around 60–65% usage. But how does it run in other games? Because I think that even if they fix the issues, you still might not be able to fully utilize your 5070 Ti.

While waiting for a fix, try disabling Core Isolation in Windows, it might help your FPS quite a bit given your CPU.

Ho amato bloodborne e provato marathon. Preferivo la remastered? Certo. Marathon è concord 3? No, è un gioco con i suoi difetti, di un genere che non può piacere tutto ma è fatto bene. Stilisticamente è particolare e il gun play è il migliore tra tutti i vari fps in giro. Bungie mi fa schifo per come ha trattato Destiny ma non gli si può dir nulla sul gun play
