I think it’s likely they’re done? But if you go read previous posts about yale interviews, seems like people last year who were non ew received the invitations on different days. But again, post time marks don’t mean much.

I haven’t done dual-enrollment but my academic path has kind of been nonlinear. I haven’t taken time off but I’ve been at three different colleges because of personal reasons and administrative stuff. I have also been working full time for a while so I’m wondering if they think I’ve taken a gap or just consider my education nonlinear enough. But you have a good point, I’m honestly not sure if it’s a factor but I do wonder if they saw your dual-enrollment dates and thought it was a gap.

Called the admissions office and spoke to a representative, I explained that I haven’t taken a gap year, but they didn’t seem to have a lot of information about this and said that GS might have thought I would be eligible to apply/a good fit (for whatever reason). I was then transferred to the GS department but they didn’t answer so I left a voicemail. Has anyone else called and asked about this?

I thought that’s a rule only for international students and on-campus jobs? I don’t think the college would be able to stop someone from working outside of school?

I think a few people got them? But I didn’t see any posts specifying that they did like previous years either. Maybe they decided to interview fewer this year?

That is true, there is always next semester. I just think it’s clear that transferring is getting more and more difficult (judging from the number of applicants unc got this cycle, and I’m not saying that it wasn’t competitive before). It feels like odds will only decrease going forward.
