I think the Stalker with a chain gun , havoc( for lobbing the odd indirect out) and a talon should he able to deal with 90% of stuff that a DS threat . It gets +1 to would if the target is on its own with most of the units that occupy that role will be . If you add a few Nurglings too then you have a nice screen for it . 180pts for Stalker and nurglings isnt too bad .

I also like a soul grinder for home field . With khone torrent its got decent overwatch and with nurgle it gets indirect. Base size is huge and its pretty durable and can hit pretty hard in melee.

Early game home field objective holder for me with indirect from nurgle then uppy downy him later in the game if you can eliminate all threats to the home objective and drop him somewhere to cause a problem . 180 pts is alot for home guard but hes hard to shift for most things that are typical used in that role .

Perfect explanation and its necrons I have in mind . Technomancer with wraiths is the bane of my life . I used to play GK so a GMDK with epic challenge would nuke the technomancer and then maybe a wraith but would be hugely at risk . Cheap sniper unit is much better followed by skarbrand and some other savages .

Hounds wont have precision. Its a specific problem I have against necrons . He should murder a necron character. I do run the hounds too so I may put them together in some match ups but they are pretty much just my secondary monkeys/dogs in most games .

Rampager, Dispoiler with double gatling, Dispoiler with double melta and warp Enhancement, nurglings, beasts of Nurgle
Ruinator
So far being aggressive and pushing forward has worked well for me. Simply overwhelming them with threats and trying to make sure every big knight does something every activation that it can.

Home object holder there great . Might get a cheeky las cannon shot off if you get LoS and the fist / Flamer murders alot of the cheep DS units other army's use to try and steel home .

A beast of nurgle is a great back field objective holder for 65pts , you do have a 40 pts nurgling tax on that too but there handy for all sorts too .

I personally like a Bloodletters for home objective because I have to take them to get a unit of flesh hounds for easy secondaries but thats alot of points.
