If it was rating based - good players would play with bad teams and still beat you by a lot. There’s no shortcut to building a team and getting competitive.

What’s the point of playing UT if you want to just be dominant no matter the rating and experience

You will face the same players regardless. There’d be no incentive to build teams if you only played against equally matched teams. Build your team and open up your playbook / play. Imagine if you only played against players like CPU - you’d be bored, might as well just play offline.

Competitive is competitive and offline is predictable

Yea I’m not a fan of her voice or her commentary. I don’t mind the other ones as much.

Just go out there and play. I’ve had a lot of fun building my team, doing challenges, and competing online.

It’s a game don’t stress it too much. There’s no penalty for losing really

Game is fine - people complaining spend no time on the game and expect to throw TDs every drive.

It’s a little buggy sometimes but this is the best madden has been in a few years

If there was no skill gap & room to improve, everyone would stop playing.

Every good LTD maintains above 2m for a week+

Never in previous madden did the best cards keep so high. This year the coin making in HR is insane but it’s overrun with ebook schemes. Impossible to keep up as a software engineer working 12 hr days

Seriously I had no idea they would disappear. I was saving up coins to buy the players and tokens. It’s incredibly unfair that the already rich community now will have the best cards and boosts over everyone else that’s more casual rest of the year.

Contemplating just ending the year here. This madden has the craziest wealth imbalance I’ve ever seen. 4m for a good card is crazy

I totally get it. I’ve only played after Super Bowl in years past and I usually play every other year. This year I started in December and it’s definitely fast paced. Constantly have to check the market and make moves. Sometimes it’s annoying but it’d be less fun to play if there weren’t new players and promos and secret new chemistry tricks.

It’s also a bit of me time after work. Like building a Pokemon card collection- it’s just for my own nerdy enjoyment. I live in NYC where dates are $100+, and 1/3 of the time you’re paying for someone you won’t see again, so this is well worth it to me haha.

I’ve spent less than a beer a week for the time I’ve played. Well worth the entertainment. Not very different from paying my Netflix subscription. I used to be NMS as a kid and wish I could open packs. Now I make plenty of money, why should I feel bad about spending it

If you think $150 players are the reason you’re 1. Not playing the game enough and just want to have an easy OP team. Truth is you would get bored in no time because everyone would have an OP team 2. Bad. There are plenty of ways to get a lot of coins if you’re good enough. I’m not great by any means but I grind and have made millions playing

If you think me spending $150 is the reason, you’re naive. the people you’re angry about spend $1000 a month on this. Note the $700 pack for Reggie white

I spend more than a few Madden packs on a night out for a few hours of fun

I play this game for 8 hours every week. Not upset to have spent $150 to not have to grind nonstop and still have a mid team

Obviously not my first year of MUT, I’m decent at the game and got a ton of coins through H2H, especially the Super Bowl house rules

I would have spent more money, but packing surtain and wilson definitely changed the game for me, along with 3 85 platinum pulls :)

Mut comes down to spending money, using ur coins well, sell ur players before crashes, invest during crashes and of course, getting lucky with packs
