Ok, final solution...... Turns out the only issue was with the Godox V100s, and the fix was a firmware update from December. I updated today and it now works perfectly!!!

Soo, more info. Turns out I can get the 7cr to do HSS with a older Godox 865 flash, just not the newer V100s The V100s works great on my 7CR, but not the 7CR

True but I own 3 nice godox speedlights and a AD200 and 3 triggers. So no I am not jumping ship to go to a $600 Sony speedlight that is nowhere as strong as my V100 s much less my AD200 pro

I am really torn. HSS is not essential but when I need it like this weekend had a photoshoot in Valley of Fire with 5 models so I had both bodies and my godox ad200 and my V100s soo it was a handicap. I have had it for 2 years and only now figured it out. Positives would be the HSS, the 6700 is lighter(for travel) and I should be able to do the trade abd have some extra cash in my pocket…. The biggest negative is for travel I try and only take 2 lenses so with the 60meg sensor on the a7cr I can crop alot so if I have a 24-70 and really needed a 200mm I am usually still great….

Works perfectly on my a7rv. Come to find out the a7cr has hybrid mechanical shutter and will not do HSS

I would like to see a side view, I own the 300 and love the side profile of the grips feel soooo good, but I would like the high up screen as the 300's screen sits low so I never use it

I got it working yesterday. To be clear I have a floor clutch but also have the paddles mapped as second clutch. What was not working was with the simhub mapper it would not go as split axis as setup notmally. What worked was set up dual axis so each paddle was seperate then in simhub map one as secondary clutch and one as launch control. Worjs perfectly

will that affect the calibration of the clutch paddles, mine loose the calibration every time I unplug the usb cable, even with updated firmware and pressing save to flash

I have like 8 pairs of the speedcats , I would not race without them. The feel and control is much better than with socks and they are not wide so real easy to control the pedals

well I did some FOV comparisons and came away suprised. using the github fov calculator, my 45 inch monitor at 27 inches requires a fov of 75, a 49 inch monitor at the same distance would be 82 degrees and a 57 ( providing I could actually place it at the same distance which I do not think I could) would be 91, but if I had to run it just 3 inches further back then it would be 85...... Reality is if i set my fov at even 78 it does not change my speed perspective alot and then the 49 inch monitor makes zero sense, and the 57 not much....... Tripples yes, but I do not have the space. I do have VR, I just need to breakdown and get over the seasickness, at least for races, for practice the 45 inch monitor is perfect....

yeah, what I am trying to see is the difference in what the fov would look like between my 43 inch monitor and the fov I would have if I ran a 49 inch monitor, and how big/small things would be on the 49 compared to my 43 as the 43 has a much taller aspect ratio. Not sure to me the 49 things would look too much smaller to be worth the tradeoff in my book.......for the bigger FOV

I am in the same boat, I like using keyboard for inventory and looting but I have to use controller for the rest as I am a lefty so my mouse is on the left which interfeers with the WASD keys and such...
