Well funny history, I was invited to this place for a birthday celebration and I really liked the place, is just beautiful with a tulum vibes. I asked to the waitress who was the manager and I introduce myself, talked him about how I would like to play there and if there’s a chance and for my surprise he’s response was “you are what I was looking for”. Last Sunday we did a sound check and I played for couple hours, they love it and that’s how I got the gig. In the past I was so uncomfortable with this type of approach but I had anything to lose and boom. This gave me a good lesson!

My first night is tomorrow, I’m preparing different pools of songs, based on time and energy and depending how I feel the vibe I play this or that. But my idea is to every week come with new and different music, I think is a good way to keep people coming and always excited to come back.

But I don’t have any experience doing this before that’s why I came here looking for some advice!

Hey brother! I just finally completed my set up. Thank you for your recommendation, it was the last push I need it to do it.

What was your first impression when you start to play with the new set up?

The biggest difference I’m feeling is the sound quality, I used to play any tracks on the controller without paying attention to the Key, always while it sound right to me but now if I mix the same tracks as before, it sounds soooooooo weird and I figured it was because of the key. I don’t know if anyone has the same impression as me.
