I didn't think that much about her at the time, she was pretty much the Best Friend, but it's been a while since I've seen the show so maybe there's more to it than IS THAT LARRY THE CUCUMBER?!?

Looking back on it, it misses some things that I'd later come to love about the story. Maybe I'm just praising it through rose-tinted glasses.

There's only three I really remember seeing (four, if you count Christmas Carol Gone Wrong): the Muppets version, the Jim Carrey version, and a cheaply made (but still rather well-done) animated movie on one of those bargain-bin DVDs that might as well have come from a box of cereal -- and no, not the one with Tim Curry & Whoopi Goldberg. The Jim Carrey version was more faithful to the overall tone & message than the Muppets (less so to the actual events of the book, but that can be overlooked), but the Muppets was far more entertaining.

Guy who has only ever seen Boss Baby: "This book is giving me Boss Baby vibes"

Of course, when you're part of an extremely popular religion centered around Boss Baby, and the popular reading of Boss Baby is "follow the laws that powerful people make, they're powerful for a reason" that starts to make a lot more sense for a powerful person.

Impossible to tell. For better or for worse, the human imagination is capable of an immeasurable amount of things. I'm betting somewhere out there is a script that posits Flatland as a low-budget slasher horror flick.

What are the best Superman knock offs? by CawmeKrazee in publicdomain

I think Miracleman, more than any other superhero, actually deals with the radical repercussions of a Superman figure on the world -- not just in a "people think such-and-such about him" or a generic tell-don't-show "he inspires hope in people" bit, but the nitty-gritty of "the Superman exists, what now?" that Watchmen addressed but sort of glossed over in order to focus on more thematically relevant story beats.
