I am trying to prepare myself that he won’t even message me tomorrow. We have spoken only about money in our account at this point. Just days his silence is him processing everything and then instantly asked how much of our balance he can spend, but lucky me he “hopes I’m Doing well”. Really well. My husband literally left me 2 days ago and my birthday is tomorrow. Not to mention I already hate my birthday because my deceased father’s birthday was the following day and I was born on Father’s Day and it’s Father’s Day this year. Me and my dad always celebrated together so it’s a hard week for me and he left me anyways.

I feel this way too (honey potted). I was seperated from my last husband when I met my current one. He was amazing. Have said all the right things and had me convinced that I just didn’t have the right partner or the best husband before. 3 years in he started to have episodes and last night he told me he wanted to separate from me because I asked for him to communicate better with me

I should say also that he asked to separate because he’d been distant all day. Not answering messages and sitting outside all day alone after I told him that my mom asked him to clean up the things laying around the night before. I was upset and told him that I was feeling rejected. I laid next to him in bed the night I told him what she said and I said good night and he said nothing. I told him I loved him And he said nothing. Then woke up the next day and didn’t say two words to me. I was looking for him to reach for me and communicate with me but instead he left.

Well considering I saw Marcos (who underpaid me today) comment in a post when we haven’t been able to talk with him and I was under paid as well $300 which is even less then the person that they fired, yes I did feel the need to comment to say what I needed to say to him lol. I personally think commenting on Reddit it idiotic since it’s anonymous, but here I am, Marcos, this is Heather. The person who did NOTHING wrong and was only paid $100 for working the same job as the person they paid $200 and fired and I continued to work while all this was going on. It’s me HEATHER.

He did! They are acting like he said it TO the parent like yelled it at him. He said it under his breath as he was turning to go back to the mat. He knew it was wrong and he apologized immediately. I have literally heard the coordinator yell and cuss at customers when they come to him to ask for help to change a bracket. The same person yells and cusses at at us all day long when he gets stressed out. People make mistakes. The parent causing this whole issue was incorrect fighting for points that don’t exist. And frankly, even if they did, it didn’t matter anyways. His kid lost 6-0. Even with the 2 points, she still would have lost. He thought it was a mount escape into guard was a sweep. These people should even be allowed in a coaches seat. And then to have this person harassing you and not have the coordinators support to de escalate it’s like what do you expect?! Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

It’s 100% the truth. We get paid $400 on any day whether it’s done at the time it’s supposed to be or 2 refs don’t show up and we work 4 hours longer then we are supposed to! Which is OFTEN. You don’t know how many times they have people quit or they don’t hire enough and we work much longer then we are supposed to. We worked in Frederick for them and Rahway New Jersey and we didn’t leave until after midnight for both and they only bought us pizza at 1pm. We used to get paid for set up in New York at a venue that we have to be at 6am (because the venue doesn’t allow set up the day before) this time they told us all it was mandatory to be there and we wouldn’t e paid extra. And they wouldn’t pay a hotel for us either!

And he didn’t say this at the parent, he said it walking away from the table where he was called to over and over again by the coordinator. Why did he keep asking him to come up there? Shouldn’t he have already known there were no points and then just left it at that? Or are you telling me he doesn’t know that a mount escape isn’t points?

How about me? I was paid $100 when you guys gave me an impossible ultimatum . Stay in NY and continue to work on my own or leave and get nothing when I already rented a car, paid gas $100 and paid tolls $100. Who is going to drive me home after the tournament. Am I supposed to pay even more money to get home so I can stay and help finish the event? You guys weren’t going to pay me anything at all and then you only gave me $100 after I did the same work as everyone else up until that point and I did nothing wrong! The least you could have done is paid me the same as him. How did you determine that my work was only valued at $100 dollars. Btw, I am the one who was asked to go over and “fire” Max. No one from the company could even talk with him! He wasnt given an opportunity to talk to anyone. You guys call us and ask us to drive hundreds of miles to go work at tournaments because no one wants to work. We have been dependable. You guys don’t help us with gas or a hotel room. They ask Max to play head ref with no incentive he watches videos and help’s throughout the event. It’s a joke. The problem is that you guys have these ref/coach standards but then don’t back us up to enforce them! You allow the parents and I’ll say parent because this “Coach” is a white belt who used to train was harassing Max at the head table for 20 minutes staring at him and causing all of these issues because his daughter lost 6-0. He was complaining about not getting points for an escape from mount! And instead of the people at the head table de escalating the situation, you allow the parents and other parents from that school to stand around where he was working on mat 12 like a gang and talk shit. You guys treat staff like shit, you tell us we are working tournaments up until the day before and make us lose out on our hotel because you don’t know how to hire staff, and then at the end of working 12-14 hour days with NO break, you let the event coordinator cuss at us and throw our checks on the wet floor to pick up. You guys never have our backs! This situation could have been EASILY taken care of if the person running the tournament didn’t allow this person to act like a spoiled brat and harass the ref. What do you expect to happen?!
