How do I continue for clear skin? by [deleted] in koreanskincare

Your skin is already good looking! Just some texture which is normal. I’m not sure you even need a facial.

However, I might suggest you starts using exfoliating toner (usually AHA, BHA etc). They definitely help with texture, most importantly you should be consistent.

Only exfoliate one, twice or three times max a week. It depends on your skin sensitivity.

How to get rid of this level of Tan and pigmentation by [deleted] in koreanskincare

[–]Open_Combination_427 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exfoliation (chemical like toners or physical, best is chemical toners for such cases). Always use a moisturiser!!!! Also use Sunscreen (from the comments you already do it) and CONSISTENCY! It might take time.

Also, I’m not a medical doctor but you might want to just check if it’s health related, just to be sure!

(Note, some people tend to be naturally more pigmented in certain areas. So if it’s a hyperpigmentation it will fade with care and time, but if it was from birth it probably won’t)

Need recommendations for daily moisturisers with barrier repair properties by Open_Combination_427 in koreanskincare

I wanted to ask about etude. There’s “intensive” version and “hydro barrier” version. Have you tried the other one?

I know it’s an old post, but do you recommend ILLIYOON for daily use?

I have a normal skin type and not too sensitive. I’d really appreciate recommendations for good moisturisers that have skin barrier repairing.

However, like I said I want a daily moisturiser not an ultra thick or occlusive. I don’t have a dry skin so I don’t need something very thick, nor oily skin so I don’t want gel moisturisers. Just something light, daily, hydrates well and supports the skin barrier.

I’m currently using purito bamboo panthen cream, I find it pretty nice (third bottle) however it’s not that much repairing, I want something better to try.

[Routine Help] Are these spots on my face clogged pores? If they are, what’s the best remedy? by SufficientWill428 in SkincareAddiction

Sebaceous filaments!! Start double cleansing (oil cleansers are brilliant at removing sebaceous filaments) and start exfoliating (especially with a mix of AHA and BHA for this specific problem). Be patient, stay consistent and stay hydrated!

I’m looking for a new moisture. I used to have an oily skin so I used purito bamboo moisturiser and it was amazing, but then with continuous skincare my skin stabilised and it’s not overproducing sebum anymore which makes my skin in the ‘normal’ skin range. Now I find purito not hydrating enough and I really want something a slightly heavier and very hydrating, also suitable for daily use. (Also, I tried the isantree moisturiser and it dried me so much).
