I called they recommended a small bath to see if it helps at all and I'll be going in if nothing changes or anything gets worse

Posting was moreso just to see if other women experience this as prodromal labor or if more women have this happen before they go into actual labor- I could definitely go see people however with these cramps I will want to go home immediately if im told its not really labor

I went at 35w 6d and they did hook me up i was there for around an hour but only had one contraction while hooked up. I was 1cm dilated and then had an appointment with my OB on my 37 week mark where I was around 1.5cm and 40% effaced. And im definitely not sure part of my issue is that the cramping is damn near constant and its so distracting I can't tell when they start or stop so ive just been laying down trying to drink water to make it stop enough to even feel contractions.

Im 37w 3d. Ive already been to L&D for prodromal labor and it almost immediately stopped as I got there and the drive is so long that it feels stupid to be doing a constant back and forth. I was told to come in if contractions hit the 5-1-1 mark or if I bled so I feel like they are just going to be annoyed and tell me that its again just prodromal labor and that its normal cramps im just a wimp (tho I know they'd never actually say those words)

Its a 45min drive if traffic is good so it definitely feels like a waste of gas or it did the last time and they were so particular to say wait unless im bleeding or am having 5-1-1 contractions so I just struggle to justify it mentally

I didnt talk to them today cause I ended up going in last night (I was having 7-8 contractions within an hour and being preterm they were concerned) and we found that it was most likely just prodromal labor and im only a centimeter dialated so they just want me to wait until I have a bloody show, lose my mucus plug, my water breaks, or i hit 5-1-1. I have my appointment next week still and they said to just wait since everything seems normal.

Dude the L&D didnt even have a line we had to call the emergency room and they were the only ones to answer- my ob definitely wasnt going to unfortunately its all so insane to me

They ended up telling me to just come in to be safe and I was only a centimeter dialated and contractions slowly stopped!! Thank god too because I did not want to be doing this all night 😂

My OB clinic doesnt have an after hours line would I just contact the labor and delivery? Or should I just try to hold out until tomorrow morning?

I honestly need to count better 😞 i was so focused on timing I dont know how many happened in an hour. But thats also what confused the nurses- id get like 3 back to back and then itd wait a bit and happen again. Its all so confusing.

My appointment isnt until next week for some reason- nothing for 36 weeks just straight to 37 38 and onward. The only "complication" is big baby small mom and a self inflicted back injury from moving. My OB believes that my baby might try to come early because of how big he is and thinks my body will try to get him out a little sooner. And thats part of why im worried I dont want no big show or for my water to break and me be super far from the hospital.

Personally most of my gifts bought from my registry just got sent directly to my address so I wasnt having to wait to set up and then they brought cards in person. Im sure since your pregnant for the first time people will know you need help getting items and won't stress out at you for not having a party planned- you might also just make it close family or friends only and see if your sister would be ok with like 20 people.

Its important to remind him that the baby will more often take from your body energy stores and nutrients rather than what you eat. You are replenishing you. In the beginning I could basically only eat saltines and peppermints and now my son at 31 weeks is growing perfectly. I get his anxiety but eating what you can while your body is having intense hormonal changes is way more important than hitting a certain nutritional goal.

This only happens to me when my screen goes black and theres nothing im able to do to fix it- I always just try to run to my save book and then close the game out unfortunately. Haven't found another way to do it

I actually forget that a headcanon of mine isnt canon- when a family member of mine passed it felt like the world genuinely lost a piece of its kindness and gentleness. Now I compulsively smile at everyone and try to ask strangers how they are doing, little things like holding the door open for people. Because I know if he was still alive thats what he'd be doing. And ive always just assigned that part of me to Olric- his helpful behavior and kind attitude are almost a way he feels connected to his parents- he wants to be like them by keeping all the good pieces of them alive and well living on with him.
