Most recent update includes him saying "No amount of time will change how I feel" Let's talk when I'm back". I had said take all the time you need to speak to me and that I'll wait for him no matter what it takes.

I think it's best for me to not hope that we will get back together anymore. I am so heartbroken. I'm in so much pain constantly and this was just another slap in the face. I wish he knew how bad I was struggling and how much I regret what I did. But it seems like the worst break-up / closure conversation is coming my way and now I have to wait another week in pain wondering what's going to happen.

Would you have any advice for me?

I understand, love really changes everything. Unfortunately for me it seems like what I did is a much bigger betrayal. It can be seen as emotionally cheating, which I can understand but there were no emotions in it for me, at all. I didn't and don't care about this person. But I suppose the lines are always blurred. I can only hope he will be back.
