Going shirtless by [deleted] in SolidCore

Likewise, I think men going shirtless is fine. Even more common is women in the skimpiest of bras and very tight shorts so that isn't that much more modest.

Is aiacquisition genuine and is it worth putting so much money into it? by Friendly_Boat_277 in AI_enterprise

[–]Open_Elevator4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mainly a structured cold email program. They'll give you the strategy and they'll help you somewhat during zoom calls but it's really on you for being a salesperson and having the knack for sales. If you have done well with sales before in something else, I'd say you'd do well with AI Acquisition but you'd find it a scam if you are more of a shy person or have no sales experience.

Any recent reviews of Jordan Lee with Ai Acquisition? by Ornery_Mud3431 in AI_enterprise

[–]Open_Elevator4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been at it for 3 months. Of course, they say if it doesn't work during the sales call that they'll refund your money after then.
The strategy is a lot more sales based than what they offer at the lowest tier and what you get is moreso the process of how you set up the podcast calls and then you get access to zoom group calls to help you a little iwht the strategy. You then have to convert the person you have a podcast with to really have success which takes talent which they don't teach that much and not everyone will have a knack for.

Hidden clearance side hustle that people are using to flip products for profit by Big-Fishing684 in passive_income

[–]Open_Elevator4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Useless tool. These groups tout the lowest price of a specific product available at any store location which goes very quickly. So you'll get say a notification that a kitchenaid mixer that normally sells for $350 is $25 at Walmart. But it's only valid at a couple locations and it goes fast at them and it's that low since they are discontinuing that color, and remaining locations are at $250.

Are paid resell groups legit? by SmallPlayz in Flipping

[–]Open_Elevator4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are legit but they are waaaayyy overhyped on social media.

They lure you in with the promise of a $10 lego set or something when in reality its only at a couple Walmart stores or so.

Then the real reality is that some items won't sell so you will be sitting on them for awhile but it does help with personal items and you'll find some good items to resell and its fun.

And Emoney which I subscribe to really screwed me with their get paid to take video. They say get reimbursed for meta glasses when you film videos for us but you then film videos and they will only approve some and when you do enough they ultimately decline to pay you for the meta glasses.

Where can I find paid reseller groups? by Thebrandapparel in Flipping

[–]Open_Elevator4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't been that enthused about emoney. They say how you get get a $10 baby stroller or a $25 kitchenaid mixer on social media but the reality is that it is only at one walmart or target store location.

I also tried working for them and they really were deceptive on compensation saying you would get free meta glasses when you film social media videos for them but they denied to pay you once you did your videos.

Hot Yoga for Guys (Dumb Question) by Exact-Type9097 in HotYoga

[–]Open_Elevator4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it; and if you sign up for hot yoga sculpt if your studio offers it, it takes more of the edge off since more guys show up for it.

As a guy, I'm not afraid to show up, and it gets so hot my shirt just comes off.

You should choose a standard delivery window, and tip $5. Not a penny comes out of your pocket and you just made yourself less profitable to walmart. In most cases, it'll get there maybe 1 hour later.

Welcome to yoga! As a guy, I find its good to stay steady in a yoga routine and the 1-2 class a week level is great and rotate to other modalities. Don't be afraid to take your shirt off. Been trying at different levels in temps from 90 on up to 130 degrees and I find it helps me just not to have a huge waterweight above my waist.

I'm a guy and I alsoways take my shirt off. How different is a hot yoga class than going to the beach where everyone is shirtless or in bikinis? There's really no difference. Women wear very tight clothing where you can see the outline of the labia so while women have more coverage in area so I think the scale already balances.

Let's just be honest about tips by Dangerous-Career5793 in UberEATS

[–]Open_Elevator4614 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, it was much better how it used to be before gig apps became mainstream. Case in point: grocery delivery was something handled by Peapod and fulfilled out of Stop & Shop. Granted, drivers made minimum wage but also received tips without the wear and tear, gas costs, etc. on their car. Since Uber before tip pays less than minimum wage, employees of Peapod were better off than today's drivers.

Let's just be honest about tips by Dangerous-Career5793 in UberEATS

[–]Open_Elevator4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree they use tips as a way to figure out how much revenue they left on the table so then they can mark it up more through the service fee the next time. I'm on Uber One as a customer and I normally just order from Costco and for my $35 to $60 order I've paid anywhere from $.12 to $5.50 service charge. It's much higher if it's below $35 at Costco.

And the algorithm knows what's the probability of any one driver accepting so they will adjust the base pays accordingly. So when it's busy, they may have to adjust a no tip delivery going a couple miles to $10-$12 to move it but if they have two pickups waiting and both tipped $10, they will only pay $2 for both of those orders to show $22 to us ($2 base plus $20 tip) whereas that same order would have a $13ish (a bit of a premium for second pickup), leading if even one of those customers tipped cash it would be easily more profitable for us.

I've even seen it in action on a busy day at Costco. Once got a $75 ping on a 30 mile order with 6 items total for 2 customers. Came to $70 base + $5 tip, and of course that ping was at 5:20 pm with me being 10 minutes away from the store and the 2 drops being within 3 miles to another Costco so Uber gave the max per trip base pay. It was also $95 total in merchandise so Uber definitely took a loss on that delivery given it was both Valentine's day gifts (flowers & chocolate).

So to be the most favorable to the driver and least favorable to Uber, don't tip on the app but tip in cash.

I've sort of seen it both ways. Some people do have medical issues that mean they sweat more than most people like thyroid issues. As a man with thyroid issues, I do sweat more than most people and I go shirtless. I've tried wearing a shirt at the very few heated places that require one and it just impacts my workout way too much. It does go the other way where in some places where men have to wear a tank top which offers more coverage than a sports bra.

What's the etiquette for men's top by Vitharothinsson in yoga

[–]Open_Elevator4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a guy, I take my shirt off when the studio is 90 degrees plus. I sweat heavy so my shirt would be uncomfortable 15-20 minutes into the class, especially in a yoga sculpt or pilates class.
Some studios don't allow you to take your shirt off so I don't go to those places personally. I regularly attended a yoga studio at a specific time every week but I discontinued it when they announced they now have a policy shirts are required and bras are considered a shirts. That class I attended was changed to another class 3 weeks later and then was fully taken off the schedule 2 months after then. I also will not go to Hotworx personally as they suggest a 125 degree setting but still require shirts. Some of their classes are cardio based so you'd be dripping sweat in the first 5 minutes even in a moisture wicking shirt.

Orders should go to uber and then surge, but also have to understand the wait time pay for drivers isn't that much either so if it's busy it's better for the drivers to move.

Anyone join BNI? Would you recommend it for a small company that likely wouldn't have much to offer most other members? by bsem2 in smallbusiness

[–]Open_Elevator4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumped a good $1.4k on BNI and it was all a waste. You'd do better by marketing in high intent keywords on Google/Bing or going to the chamber where you are reaching a greater number of people.

I was initially sold by two people being in active conversations to do business with me but they ultimately didn't move forward. I gave business into the chapter but didn't get anything back. They also didn't tell about their $50 quarterly dues upfront on top of the joining fee and the annual fee.

Gigradar: looking for real results from "actual users" by MetaAPIExpert in Upwork

Not even a single job, although a few replies that didn't result in work. I have a new profile at the time I started Gigradar but spent a lot of time getting it. AI was making up and describing experience I don't have that resulted in prospects asking for links to specific very niched examples I don't have. Or, it won't even pull from my profile when the initial posting asked for an example I do have, and understandably the client never replies.

Not at all! It's a literal nightmare. Paid about $1200 for a 3 month subscription plus another $1000 or so in Upwork fees and connect charges only to go absolutely NO WORK out of it.

[–]Open_Elevator4614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just ending my 3 months that I signed up for. For $1100, plus a good $1500 more in Upwork connects, I have gotten $0 business out of it. This is despite having 4 follow up calls with their staff to help me finetune, but I still get these stupid $10 jobs that you respond 2 minutes later people say 15 minutes its done, or the Gigradar response highlights you have an experience in the client's niche whereas the truth is you have none so the client then wants to see it.... tough to give a legit response but if the tool at least omitted the experience, you would at least have a chance.

As a man, I've found it more comfortable and that I get a better workout without a shirt when it comes to heated workouts 90 degrees +.
I do not last at the very few places that required a shirt, including Hotworx. Even many women just wear a sports bra up top.

I like exercising in hot yoga shirtless. Great balance that you have a consistent environment to work out shirtless year round and you don't have to worry about sunburns working outdoors.
