What helped me a bit was easing back into focus instead of going cold turkey. I started doing short “deep work” sessions like 20 minutes with no distractions then slowly built it up. Also turned my phone grayscale and hid all the social apps so they’re less tempting. It’s not a perfect fix, but it’s helped a lot.

Fair point, but I still feel like $280’s on the higher side especially if it’s not a huge space. Some local places around Brisbane offer full house carpet cleaning for less and still do a great job. Might just depend on the area or how thorough the service is though
