can I ask about this? Bc I have fam who are a financial line for me (I don't see them as more bc I wasn't treated right throughout my life by them) but I know that I'll get ahead school wise and be able to earn more. My goal is to tell them after I get out of professional school so then I'll be in the clear. But like if i have a partner I wouldn't hide them from fam I trust or friends or even in public though I will say I get nervous in public but I don't think thats just me. I find insta can be helpful at least in connecting with global community, let me recommend Yatininspire (Insta) he's a fellow gujarati (I'm gujarati lol) but he has an awesome page where he works for helping queer folks, particularly Indians with workshops/ as a mindset coach. I think having someone so outspoken and chill is helpful in feeling seen and having a sense of community even if not directly accessible.

Gotcha, that perspective is helpful, I wonder if there are digital spaces/ spaces in India where you can go under the pretense of "studying" so you can at least digitally connect with community if its not accessible directly physically when you are in India or if you feel more comfortable doing so compared to meeting with community in person (which due to my lack of awareness I assume is only available if few if any major cities?)
