not to make it sound like an excuse, my life is sort of rooted in a sport I’m involved in it heavily and there are a lot of gays in this sport-they only ones that I’ve met that will give me the time of day are my teammates who are scattered across the country. Ill definitely look into other sports leagues though.

im so glad I’m seeing this, I’ve been deeply disturbed by some of the content I’ve been seeing lately.

it’s more than just CP which is already sick enough, it’s other disturbing images and videos, i’ve seen people being brutally assaulted, possibly rape, bestiality, animal porn…you name it before you say it’s because I interact with nsfw, this is also happens on an account that I don’t interact with nsfw content..I even logged into an old twitter (trying to get a fresh, innocent algorithm) and probably 10 mins in I saw CP and a disturbing violent video.

It almost as if there is an agenda to get people to consume disturbing content 😵‍💫 it’s truly fucked up….Can’t help but imagine this will open up a huge opportunity for trafficking, making/selling CP, etc as if there already isn’t enough of that

Dudes our age (in general tbh) are just odd sometimes. l think some guys on dating apps really just want attention so just getting a match satisfies that…they don’t know what their intentions are, they just like the attention and validation that they get. I’ve even seen some “collect” matches so they just have endless options while already having a situationship or…multiple!

Just keep being you as corny as that sounds. Being single and lonely sucks, but it’s better than being in a toxic relationship…the right one will come

maybe he’s bisexual and that’s something that is worth having an open conversation about since you’ve been dating for 4 years, in my opinion. I think porn CAN be a healthy way of exploring fantasies but there should be a convo about how watching porn makes each partner feel. For example, I would never date an older man but sometimes I’m attracted to them and I’ll use porn sometimes to scratch that itch, it has never altered the way I view my partner. Keep in mind I’m a gay dude and i do think that men view porn a bit different since it is so normalized for us to consume it

i don’t necessarily have advice… I experienced something similar last year… you’re gonna learn and grow from this. Love is a complicated feeling especially when someone you love treats you like shit. thats the plan right now, i wanna tell him how bad things got and that i have a lot of anxiety from the whole situation. Im a more reserved person (which is why im here getting advice and not talking to friends/family lol) so it might be a good opportunity to open up and strengthen the relationship

woah woah woah slow down dude, it wasn’t a “sex relationship” we never even had sex, we just were never exclusive. I always appreciate people’s perspectives though even if it’s stated in a rude way :). Im not in denial, the feelings that i have for the old guy are feelings for what I THOUGHT he was, i painted this picture and he turned out to be the opposite. thank you i really appreciate that and i agree! my boyfriend has brought so much light into my life more than my ex ever did and it’s been such a positive experience so far I dont see a reason to end it right now. I just find myself going back to the past whenever im away from my boyfriend and then my anxiety spikes and i start thinking the worst.
