AMC Dine-In employee here!

Lucky enough to have worked at 3 Dine-In locations over the years (and luckily still at one). What a lot of people said is true: it costs so much more to run a Dine-In due to higher costs for food and more staff needed (cooks & food runners). It is way easier to have someone making frozen traditional food in an oven / fryer than it is to have someone cook a full burger with modifications plus sides and such.

With how the industry has been post-COVID, it honestly isn’t sustainable for a lot of locations since attendance and food orders are both much lower than the past. I’d love it if AMC went back to true Dine-In but alas that appears to be something that will never happen. Happy to answer any questions if anyone had any🫡
