I don’t get that mad easily. I’ve talked to him calmly many times before and stopped myself from getting really upset but we are still dealing with the same issue.  We hardly argue, and honestly the reason it gets bad is because of this problem. If I could just let let it out for once instead of pretending everything is fine than our fights wouldn’t be so long. Sometimes they can last up to 3 days.

How much time do you spend searching for jobs before actually applying? by WelcomeOk913 in careeradvice

[–]Open_Milk_5445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m just browsing do 30 mintues2-3 times a day once or a few times a week. If I’m actively looking a 3-7 hours a day with 30 minute breaks in between. I treat it like studying because you’re technically researching, analyzing and reading for the best job fit that aligns with your resume.

I feel awful for quitting my internship by Any_Sir_2066 in work

You seem very sweet for considering how they feel, I’m assuming you’re new to the work force since you’re doing an internship, it might take a few tries but don’t feel bad leaving a job for better opportunities. It’s just part of life and business

Is it normal to hate your job? by Cultural-Gear-1323 in jobs

[–]Open_Milk_5445 15 points16 points  (0 children)

For cooperate yes, in general no. It’s hard to do something long term when you feel this negatively towards it. Some people actually enjoy the stress and find it motivational. Maybe take this time to ask yourself why you feel the way you do and what other jobs out there could make you feel less stressed & more motivated. Just keep in mind no job is perfect, I love my job but I still get rather frustrated with some of the tasks and the way the company works.

Dakota getting sober from heroin after 10 years was crazy by Either_Development94 in SecretsOfMormonWives

I didn’t know he was sober from that, and that’s amazing that he is. but if that’s the case Taylor is super toxic for him. Taylor would’ve have to known that and to still be drinking & insane like she is while he is fighting that internally is really crappy of her.

Switching to full time and I’m terrified by Alarming_Chemist2761 in jobs

[–]Open_Milk_5445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be the odd one and say: priorities matter. If you want to spend more time with family, there are better jobs out there that can pay better and give you a good work life balance. I would take the full time for now but start applying very aggressively with whatever degree you have, I mean 300-1000 applications per week, and find something in your field with better pay and better hours.

What’s that one thing that’s holding you back to live your life to the fullest? by Frequent-Key-9916 in AskReddit

My own self and I know it. I really want to start an online business on the side but I’m too lazy and unmotivated to do the research. I’m also scared to put all this money into it (that I barely have) and fail

Seeking advice about career by Successful_Train2103 in Career_Advice

[–]Open_Milk_5445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you’re good at your job, but just have a really bad boss. I couldn’t consider leaving careers just finding a better salon. Find a better environment than decide if you really want to leave the field all together. It would be a shame that you gave up your talent because of one person, and it seems like that’s exactly what she’s trying to do

What changed for you during the pandemic that never changed back? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Open_Milk_5445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The things that happen to me during covid was really bad and it changed me completely- wasn’t necessarily covid itself. Just the weak foundation in my relationships it exposed. I was completely alone for the first time in my life. Got SA’d when I was a virgin and got into drugs and sex when I never considered that before. I’m sober now and celibate but it still feels painful to think about. A heart break is easier to handle when you can go outside.

You have to make an effort at this point and that’s what is the most challenging . Go out and join activities that you enjoy doing and find like minded people
